POSITION:
-Team Lead, NASA Develop Program, Hampton, VA (Summer 2007 & 2008, Fall 2007,
Spring 2008)

DUTIES:
-Manged 5-6 member teams; working with NASA scientists, communities and government
organizations to demonstrate the use of NASA technology to the public.

-Completed project reports and presentations to organizations such as the American


Meteorological Society and NASA Headquarters on issues including; the effects of
climate change on the Hampton Roads region, methods of tracking key emissions
species of air pollution sources and the financial and health impacts of air
pollution on effected communities.

POSITION:
-Team Member, NASA Develop Program, Hampton, VA (Summer 2006)

DUTIES:
-Member of a 5-6 person team; working with NASA scientists, communities and
government organizations to demonstrate the use of NASA technology to the general
public.

-Used the MATLAB programming language to write programs that interacted with NASA
satellites to retrieve and process data on key atmospheric parameters used in air
quality research. Used various models such as NOAA's HYSPLIT v.4.8 to calculate
air particle trajectories.

POSITION:
-Volunteer, Rappahannock General Hospital, Kilmarnock, VA (Summers 1998-2004)

DUTIES:
-OR and ER: Ensured that patients were properly checked into, and out of, the
operating room and emergency room, and performed office tasks for the doctors and
nurses.
-Pharmacy: Updated the inventory, prepared and delivered medications to patients.

-Senior Volunteers: Assisted the senior volunteers in transporting and


communicating with patients.
