WHAT EXACTLY IS CAREER SUCCESS?
Career success is a subjective term and means different things to different people.
A successful career is usually one where the person feels happy to go to work every day,
doing something of interest to the individual.
Many people also measure career success by income, employer, promotion, prestige, etc.
However, when it comes to these criteria, they are not the same for everyone.
If you don’t define career success, you will never know when you achieve it
THE COMPETENCY MATRIX
Be willing to Learn
• To excel in your career, you have to be willing to
learn. No matter what university you graduated from
or what grades you had, professional life will be
very different from college.
If your manager has to ask you for a status report, you're not
doing everything you could be doing.
