EXT. SAATDHARA-CHITLANG - EARLY MORNING

Cold, silent night. Only sound of water splashing from the

taps.

PRAYAG BASNET, late 20's, a bearded man, points gun at

BIKESH, mid 205. A teenage boy, KANCHA,lies unconscious in
the ground. Bikesh holds a pouch in his hands.

PRAYAG
Give it to me

Bikesh hesitates.
PRAYAG
Too much of this hide and seek.

Give it to me or you both are dead.

Bikesh throws the pouch towards Prayag. Prayag tries to catch

the pouch.

Blink. Bikesh takes a gun from his back.

GUNSHOT.

Blood spills from Prayag's stomach. Prayag is down

EXT. CHITLANG -DAY - A WEEK BACK

Rural outskirt of chitlang. Bikesh and Prayag stand outside a

house.

Homestay board an the top of house.

Bikesh watches Prayag shake hands with the owner of the

house.

Prayag takes cash from his bag and hands it to the owner.
An evil smile in Prayag's face. Pragay signals Bikesh to
follow the man. The house owner leads him to other house.
EXT. DHAN BAHADUR GOLE'S HOUSE -CONTD

An old two storey house, unmaintained by modern standards.

Not suitable for homestay.
HOMESTAY OWNER
Dhan ba, sano madat chaiya thyo.

DHAN BAHADUR GOLE, 80's, walks out of house. KANCHA follows

the old man.

Kancha looks at the Dhan Bahadur and stays quiet.

Dhan Bahadur looks at Kancha looking for answer to what to

Kancha takes the luggage bag and leads Bikesh into the house.

Bikesh enters the room. Kancha puts the luggage at the

corner .

Bikesh dislikes the foul smell of the room.

KANCHA

Bikesh hesitates to sit on the bed.

KANCHA

Phone rings. Bikesh receives.

PRAYAG(VOICE OVER)
Kotha ramro chaina malai thah cha.
Jati chito kaam sakyo ramro. Ghumna

Call Ends.

Bikesh changes his mood. Takes out chocolate from his

sidebag.

BIKESH
Laa kancha.

Kancha takes the chocolate.

BIKESH
Ani ghar ma aru ko ko cha?

Kancha takes a bite of chocolate.

KANCHA
(still chewing)
Ghar ma tei ma ra baje. Aru koi

As kancha keeps speaking....

EXT. CROP FIELD -DAY

Bikesh sits by the field. Other field workers working in the

field.

KANCHA
(continue from previous)

Kancha takes radish from the worker.

Bikesh takes bite.

Bikesh looks at the setting sun.

INT. DHAN BAHADUR GOLE'S HOUSE- VISITOR ROOM -NIGHT

Bikesh lies down in his bed. Old O—watt light bulb

flickering.

KANCHA(OFF SCREEN)
Dai kei chaiyo bhane vannu hai.

Bikesh closes his eyes.

Black out.

Bikesh opens his eyes and opens his luggage bag.

Takes a gun, a master key opener, torch light and a mask.

A person enters the room.

Bikesh put his hand to pocket. Holds the gun.

EXT. ASHOK CHITYA -DAY

Kancha acts as guide to Bikesh.
Bikesh takes photo of stupa.

EXT. NASPATI BAGAICHA -DAY

Kancha climbs on the Naspati tree. Bikesh observes

Kancha picks and throws naspati down to Bikesh.

Both sit down and bite naspati.

Bikesh smokes behind the house. A small fire infront of him.

Looks at the clear sky.

Bikesh throws his cigratte. Dhan Bahadur starts to leave.

mouth... Stops.

Throws away the cigarette away.

EXT. SAATDHARA-CHITLANG -MORNING

Dhan Bahadur walks towards the tap. Bikesh follows him.
Dhan Bahadur takes off clothes to take bath.
Bikesh sit above the taps.Dhan Bahadur sees him.
DHAN BAHADUR
Aaja ta chitai uthechau ta? Chitai

uthchau jasto lageko thena

BIKESH
Kaam bhayepachi manxe yestai ho...

Bikesh takes bath as well.

Both wear clothes after bath.
BIKESH

Bikesh observes an old lock in the ground at a corner barely

noticeable covered with grass.

Both walk back to the house.

EXT. SHIVALAYA -DAY

Shivam sits oustide the temple.
Kancha takes a rose in his hand.

KANCHA
Dai pura dar po lagdo raaixa hai...

Bikesh laughs.

BIKESH
Nadarai kina vanna sakyau vane kt

KANCHA

BIKESH
Paryas gara, fal aafai falcha.
The teenage girl passes by. Kancha moves towards her.
The girl stops and looks back.

GIRL

Kancha is blank. Takes out the rose.

GIRL

The girl laughs.

Bikesh enjoys their conversation from distance.

Someone pulls him from behind. Bikesh counters. Takes out the
gun, pulls the man to corner and points on the head.

PRAYAG
Bado ramailo hudai cha ta?

Bikesh puts the gun back.

PRAYAG

BIKESH
Bhanne bitikia bhetcha?

PRAYAG
Ghumgham garere bhetcha tani?

BIKESH

INT. DHAN BAHADUR GOLE'S HOUSE -NIGHT

Kancha takes food towards Dhan Bahadur's room. Bikesh

interrupts.

BIKESH
Baje lai ma lagdinxu.

Kancha hands over the food to Bikesh.

Bikesh mixes chemical over the food and enters the room.

BIKESH
Baje khana.

Dhan Bahadur seems happy to see him.

DHAN BAHADUR
Time lera aako?tei rakhdeu

Bikesh leaves the room.

LATER THAT NIGHT

Complete Black OUT

Bikesh takes his torch and moves out of his room.

Enters Dhan Bahadur's room silently.

Dhan Bahadur is unconscious in his bed. Bikesh looks at the

Daraz with a big lock.

Takes out his master key. Tries to open the lock.

Turns the key but lock doesnt open. Fraustrated.
Bikesh looks for the key.

Bikesh searches Dhan Bahadur's body for the key but doesnt
find it.

KANCHA(OFF SCREEN)
Chabi yaha cha...

Bikesh takes out his gun in shock. Ligts 0N.

Kancha enters the room with a knife in his hands.

KANCHA
Baje lai k gareko?

Kancha points knife towards him.

BIKESH
Baje lai kei hudaina. Behos matra
ho...

KANCHA
Baje bata para janu...
Bikesh steps back.

Kancha moves towards Dhan Bahadur.

BIKESH

Photo matrai chahiyeko ho malai...

KANCHA

Yaha bata niskunu.

BIKESH

Kasailai kei garna aako haina ma

Hamro varosa ko k garnu vo dekhi

BANG. DOOR OPENS.

Pragay enters the room.

Hits kancha, removes his knife, folds his hands and ties

them.
Put clothes in Kancha's mouth.

BIKESH
Sorry yaar. Maaf garde.

Prayag throws the key to Bikesh.

Bikesh takes the key and opens the Daraz.

Old clothes inside the Daraz.

Between the clothes is the photo.

Bikesh takes the photo.

Prayag rushes and pulls the photo from Bikesh's hands.
PRAYAG

Prayag throws all the clothes from daraz to floor but finds
nothing.

Prayag starts to throw and smash things. Bikesh stops.

BIKESH
Halla nagar...
Prayag takes some water and throws to Dhan Bahadur's face to
bring the old man back to consciousness.

Dhan Bahadur breathes with difficulty.

Bikesh pushes prayag and holds Dhan Bahadur.

BIKESH
Baje...

Prayag puts Kancha at gun point.

PRAYAG
(to Dhan Bahadur)
Baje photo khoi?
Bikesh looks at Dhan Bahadur.
Prayag steps on kancha's hand.
BIKESH
Ajhai bujhinas, hya kunai photo

Prayag cocks the gun.

Bikesh jumps towards prayag. Punches him in the face. The gun
falls down. Prayag is down.

Bikesh takes the gun.

Prayag runs out of the room.

Bikesh looks below the daraz to find a old cloth wrapping

something. Bikesh unwraps the cloth to find an old ancient
key.

Bikesh looks at the key.

Its almost morning.

Bikesh moves out of the house.

Bikesh moves quickly. Kancha follow.

EXT. SAATDHARA-CHITLANG - CONTINUOUS

Bikesh puts the key in the old lock and opens it to find a
small pouch.

Opens the pouch. Old, dusty but shining necklace.

A scream from behind.

Kancha is down on ground. Prayag holds the gun in his hand.

BACK TO THE BEGINING SCENE

Prayag is dead.

Bikesh now holds the gun. Moves forward and takes the pouch
and holds kancha.

FADE TO BLACK
BIKESH(VOICE OVER)
