The eating habits of vietnamese people

As you know, Vietnamese food is considered one of the unique cuisines in
Southeast Asia as it mixes together a range of flavours. To begin with, about some
characteristic features of Vietnamese eating habits. I should make it clear by saying
that people prefer to use fresh ingredients, various herbs and vegetables and little
dairy or oil in cooking. Well, different sauces such as fish sauce, shrimp paste and
soy sauce are added to boost the flavour of meals. Additionally, in meal there
aren’t too many eating rules and rituals. In the second place, I will introduce you
to the typical components in Vietnamese meals. Generally, people have no concept
of a full-course meal that serves a starter, main course and dessert. A typical meal
consists of rice, soup, stir-fried or boiled vegetables and main dishes cooked from
meat, fish, egg or tofu. And rice is regarded as a staple and plays an integral part in
people’s eating habits. Moreover, all dishes are usually put on a circular tray neatly
with a small bowl of fish sauce in the middle. However, in some families,
especially in urban areas, people place the food on a table. Finally, about other
characteristic. The main principle of dinning in Viet Nam is sharing. Therefore,
normally there is a big dish or bowl of each dish and people use chopsticks and
spoons to get their food instead of knives, and forks as Western people do. Besides,
people love chatting with each other during meals to build a strong emotional
connection with their friends and among family members. One of the significant
features of Vietnamese eating habits is that hosts pick up food for guests to show
their hospitality. In conclusion,  Vietnamese people form healthy eating habits and
our food is quite tasty.
2.What are the reasons that make vietnam a tourist attraction for foreigners ?
Nowadays, there are more and more foreign tourists visiting Viet Nam because of
the following reasons. To begin with, there are many natural beauty spots that
attracts visitors. For example, Ha Long Bay has been recognized by UNESCO as a
world natural cultural heritage. This place is like a miracle created by nature.
Anyone who comes here must admire this breathtaking and wonderful beauty.
Moreover, there are also many beautiful beaches as well as typical traditional
festivals of each region taking place every year such as Sam Son beach – Thanh
Hoa, Thien Cam beach – Ha Tinh, Gong festival – Tay Nguyen, Coffee festival –
Buon Ma Thuot,... . In the second place, the people are so friendly and welcoming.
Because Vietnamese people mainly come from peasants, they are very simple and
rustic. Not only that, they also try to learn other foreign languages to become tour
guides to help tourists understand clearly Vietnamese traditions. In addition,
people are very honest, so they make tourists love and trust them. Finally, the
cuisine is very diverse and unique. For instance, seafood dishes are made from
clean ingredients, so they look very fresh and have a fragrant scent marinated with
spices mixed together. Besides, there are also specialties of each region and each
place has a different culinary knack. Not only seafood but also dishes like sticky
rice with five colors, banh chung,… makes visitors feel extremely excited.
Although the dishes are processed very meticulously with a lot of materials, the
price is reasonable and suitable. Therefore, foreign tourists are always attracted by
these fancy and delicious dishes. In conclusion, these are three main reasons that
have turned Viet Nam into an attractive place for visitors. Thus, we are trying to
make Viet Nam become a tourist center and the first choice for visitors on holidays

3. Negative effects of tourism on a region or country

Nowadays, so many places in the world rely heavily on tourism as a key source of
income and employment nowadays, however, tourism can also be a source of
problems too. To begin with, one of the undesirable aspects of tourism
development is environmental degradation in destinations. More and more natural
resources such as water, energy, and soil are exploited due to the increase in visitor
numbers, which may lead to the depletion of local resources. Obviously, beverage
bottles or cans and plastic bags are freely disposed of at the tourist sites, posing a
threat to the natural environment. Besides, the habitats of many wild plants and
animals have been gradually lost because of building hotels, resorts and
recreational zones. In the second place, traditional ways of life are affected and can
lead to the loss of the ethnic cultural identity in that tourist area. For example, now,
just because they want to make more money, tourism businesses ignore everything
to renovate all the historical sites to attract visitors with lies that lose the historical
values of the people our race from thousands of generations. Or there is a case that
because of market competition, people can freely change their traditional way of
life to compete for the new era of society and lose their own cultural identity
Vietnamese people. Finally, one of the drawbacks of tourism is the pressure on
population. For instance, the number of arrivals raises the number of people in an
area, which causes traffic jams and social vices. Many cities and towns become
overwhelmed with tourists resulting in traffic congestion and accidents. Moreover,
some areas can be inundated with visitors during busy times, and then virtually
deserted for many months. In conclusion, above are the typical harms of tourism.
Therefore, we need to have appropriate solutions to prevent those consequences so
that tourism can develop in a sustainable way.

4. The ways you will do or you have done to improve your english
I’ve learnt English for 7 years and I found that in order to be good at a foreign
language you should definitely have a good method for studying and
practicing.  For me, the best way to improve pronunciation skills is through
imitation and practice.  We should listen to or watch an array of materials in
English such as songs, podcasts, TV programs, films... because no teachers are
better than native speakers.  We can study their mouth by observing how they
move their tongues and lips while speaking.  Then we can try to imitate them and
check whether we are making correct sounds in front of a mirror or through a
recording device.  It also seems to me that taking tests regularly is the most
effective way to master my English grammar.  Practicing indeed makes me
understand more about that grammar point and retain that knowledge
better.  Additionally, I always have some good reference books nearby to consult
when necessary.  In brief, learning a foreign language is a long journey requiring a
lot of time and effort.  The most important thing is that you must find an effective
way to study that best suits you and practice as much as possible.
5. Which qualities and skills do you think are necessary for an astronaut
today ?
In my opinion, I think an astronaut needs some following qualities and skills to be
able to do this job well. To begin with, they must have good health, otherwise, they
cannot survive in space. And to make sure they need to pass the same physical test
as the military physical exam. Moreover, they also have to establish for themselves
a solid mentality without fear and alertness to be able to think of the fastest
solutions when facing difficult situations. In the second place, they have to possess
deep knowledge about engineering and the spaceship system so that they can solve
any emergency in the spaceship. Besides, astronauts need a bachelor’s degree from
an accredited university in engineering, biological science, physical science or
math. Last but not least, cooperating skills hold no less importance in working as
an astronaut and they must be open-minded to diversity because they work on
teams with astronauts from other countries and cultures. Since only one astronaut
cannot finish a trip into space, they have to know how to work together with other
members of the crew to succeed in finishing their mission. In conclusion, the above
is the 3 main qualities and skills to adapt and work effectively in a space
environment that is to have good mental health, to be educated in the essential
skills of an astronaut and mentally unite. If they have these qualities and skills,
becoming an excellent astronaut is completely easy
6. Benefits and challenges that artisans in traditional craft village may face
As you know, Viet Nam is rich in traditional crafts such as embroidery, pottery,
basket weaving, silk weaving, stone carving and bronze casting. On one hand,
traditional crafts have many benefits such as provide employment, preserve
cultural heritage and help develop tourism. First of all, traditional handicrafts
provide many jobs to people especially young people in rural areas with job
opportunities. Now besides farming, they can live on handicrafts making or other
follow – up services. In the second place, traditional crafts help preserve cultural
heritage which is shown through sophisticated handicrafts by skillful artisans.
Finally, those professors also contribute to the development of our country’s
tourism. More and more tourists like visiting craft villages and buying handicrafts
as souvenirs. Therefore, local tourism will develop quickly. On the other hand,
Vietnamese craftsmen have faced some challenges. As tourism develops,
handicrafts are at risk of losing authenticity. They may be made for commercial
demands of tourists rather than for the real purpose of art. In addition, waste
treatment and pollution are other issues in craft villages because waste is often
directly released into the local environment without proper treatment. And there
are a lot of competitions from other countries like China or India. To conclude
traditional crafts have many advantages but they also come with drawbacks. Thus,
we should find some solutions to handle these problems
7. What job do you want to do in the future ? Why ?
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a teacher. Up to now, I still wish to become a
teacher like my mother. I love it for the following reasons. To begin with, I want to
follow my family tradition. From generation to generation every family member
works as a teacher, so I admire it very much. In the second place, as a teacher, I
can learn more and more things have a chance to open my eyes. For example, if I
teach history or English, I have to read many books to make my teaching lesson
more lively. During preparations, I can learn many things about the world and its
affairs, past and present. Moreover, I also understand more about people around us
as well as those who are thousands of the mile away in different land across the
oceans. Further, I study more and more new words and phrases which help me to
express my own thoughts and feeling better. By this way, I can improve ability of
communication and my pronunciation. Finally, the work of teachers makes me
sympathetic and considerate towards others. When students need me, I am ready to
help them with the best I can. In addition, I feel very happy to pass my knowledge
and understanding on to the next generation. Not only that, standing in front of
many students forged me courage and confidence. In conclusion, I think I am
likely to become a teacher in the future. And this work will help me become a
better and more complete person.
8. If you have a chance to visit a country in the world, which country would
you like to go ? Why ?
The country I like most if I have a chance to go around the world is Tokyo. It is the
capital city of Japan and is the most populous metropolitan area in the world. The
most important reason I wish to visit Tokyo is the co-existence of modern and
traditional values. It’s the kind of city where the red gates of a centuries-old Shinto
shrine may well be found just next door to a glass skyscraper showcasing the finest
21st century technology. Or where a quiet green lane lined with wooden low-rise
houses and an old school tofu shop might sit just a short stroll from a neon-lit
square packed with flickering billboards and rainbow-bright street fashion. The
hectic life in Tokyo is also an irresistible attraction for young people. Tokyo’s
railway system seems like it was designed to win world records. It’s rare to find a
location in the metropolitan area that can’t be reached with a train ride and a short
walk. It is also common knowledge that I could spend hours drooling over the
elaborate pastries and picture-perfect sushi rolls in a department store. I feel that
the city is moving toward the future. I believe Tokyo will become a city that is full
of surprises.
9. In your opinion, how should endangered species be protected
Nowadays, wild animals, especially rare animals are in danger of extinction due to
human actions. Therefore, we need to have some of the following solutions. To
begin with, organizations and state agencies have to put in place some strict laws.
For example, heavy financial penalties are imposed on those who illegally buy,
sell, transport and store wildlife, even if repeated offenses, they may be arrested in
prison for 2 years or more. In the second place, each of us should raise funds for
protecting them. To establish and build a conservation area suitable for adaptable
wild animals also require a large amount of money. Moreover, practical actions to
protect them if not enough money can not be made. Finally, we need to make
everyone around us aware of the need to protect natural habitats. Obviously, we
can do it through the media, reality channels about the animal world on television
or some posters so that people can understand and not destroy their habitat with
actions lack of thought. In addition, we also have to stand up to boycott products
made from wildlife or they will be gone forever. Especially if people use these
products, it will significantly affect their health. In conclusion, these are typical
solutions that contribute to the protection of wildlife. If we implement the above
solutions, the animal world will be forever endured.olutions, the animal world will
be forever endured
10. What is your opinion of women’s roles in the modern society ?
Nowadays, the roles of women are changing dramatically and clearly. To begin
with, the liberation of the women from domestic duties and subservient status has
actually brought them an independent social equal position or superior to that of
men. We also see that in the new social, more and more men are staying at home
and helping their wives with cooking, childcare and other housework. Woman can
share everyday tasks with men so that they do not feel pressured and tired. In the
second place, women also make a lot of money, not just men who can work.
Because females are gentle and have many good skills, it is easy for them to get a
good job in today's society. Not only that, they are also very diligent in completing
the assigned tasks on time, not as lazy as men. Therefore, women are very
important at work and have a lot of great successes. Finally, they are still highly
educated. It can not be denied that women are doing their best to get masters
degrees, professors... For example, many leaders and senior executives in our
country are all women since they have the technique to handle stressful tasks in a
gentle and tolerant way. In addition, they also have a calm and alert attitude when
facing with difficulties, not hot-tempered like men. In conclusion, women's role is
becoming more and more prominent in the society. Their functions are now quite
active, and this definitely will make the world better, as both men and women can
work together to improve and build it more perfect.
