With this activity, the following learning outcomes are expected:

Identify concepts for reading context on health problems arising from the
relationship between geopolitics, environmental, determinants in health
and sustainable development.

The activity consists of:

Individual activity:

● Read bibliographic sources of the Syllabus or Knowledge environment


and Glossary.

Design a conceptual map that integrates the definitions of geopolitics,


sustainable development, and health determinants. You must use
programs such as Lucidchart (https://www.lucidchart.com/), cmaptools
(https://cmap.ihmc.us/cmaptools/ ) or genially (https://www.genial.ly/es
)

● Additionally, prepare a 10 line paragraph where you give your opinion


about Geopolitics and the relationship with environmental health in
Colombia. You must cite the bibliographical references in the
paragraph.

Is an individual activity. You must create a document of maximum 3
(three) pages and upload in the evaluation environment and forum. The
deliverable must include:

- Cover
- Goals of the activity
- Conceptual map ( 1 page)
- Opinion about Geopolitics and the relationship with environmental
health in Colombia.
- Two (2 ) Conclusions
- Bibliographic references according to APA standards.

Total weighting: 25 points

In the Initial Information Environment, you must: revise the course


agenda and presentation Geopolitics and environment course.

In the Learning Environment, you must: read the bibliographic


references, the 10- year plan for public health 2012-2021 and the
sustainable development goals. In the forum you can participate by
publishing the doubts and concerns that you have during the
development of the pre-task.

In the Evaluation Environment, you must: as the final product you must
upload the deliverable in word Format, maximum three pages with the
dates described in this guide. In the same document, you must attach the
paragraph with the concepts and include the bibliographical references.

2. General Guidelines for the Development of Evidences to


Submit.

For Individual evidence, consider the following: Is an activity individual.


You must include cover, goals of the activity, the paragraphs with the
description of the content, conclusions, Bibliographical References.
Maximum three (3) pages. excellent writing and use of grammar rules.
Participation in the forum in the first week (minimum 3 contributions). Then
in the second week minimum 2 contributions.

 All members of the group must participate with their


contributions in the development of the activity in the forum.

Please keep in mind that all individual or collaborative written products


must comply with the spelling rules and presentation conditions defined in
this activity guide.
Regarding the use of references, consider that the product of this
activity must comply with APA Format.

Under the Academic Code of Conduct, the actions that infringe the
academic order, among others, are the following: paragraph e)
"Plagiarism is to present as your own work all or part of a written report,
task or document of invention carried out by another person. It also
implies the use of citations or lack of references, or it includes citations
where there is no match between these and the reference" and paragraph
f) "To reproduce, or copy for profit, educational resources or results of
research products, which have rights reserved for the University ".

The academic penalties students will face are:

a) In case of academic fraud demonstrated in the academic work or


evaluation, the score obtained will be zero (0.0) without any disciplinary
measures being derived.
b) In case of proven plagiarism in academic work of any nature, the

score obtained will be zero (0.0), without any disciplinary measures
being derived.
