Universal Design for Learning (UDL): Describe how you could address Universal Design for
Learning principles to extend and support the learning experiences for all students. 

In my lesson I will touch on all three section of the Universal Design for learning. In the lesson I
will do this by having the students create a Microsoft Sway
Lesson idea implementation: As you address the standards, what will students and teachers do?
How will the project be introduced? How long will it take to complete? How will student learning
be assessed? How will the final product be used to inform/differentiate learning? How will you
extend the student learning to a higher learning level? How will you conclude the lesson? How
will you provide feedback to students about their work? MINIMUM 2 paragraph overview.
The students in this lesson are being taught about the benefit of game play and the teacher is
there to present their sway to the class as an example. The students are to go through the sway
given to them and create their own sway over any game they want its rules and why the game is
worth playing. I will introduce the class with my sway over the game Spike Ball.

This lesson will take about 50 mins and maybe another class to see a few presentation. The
learning will be assessed by them presenting in front of the class on their game. This extends the
learning by showing how they can use technology to show passion about something and work on
large group speakings. I will conclude the lesson with them presenting in front of the class.

Reflective Practice:

The idea of using sway to go over a topic and having the class create one can be used for any
idea. This impacts the learning by making sure they are thinking on their own and not just reading
the work of the teacher. To extend the lesson I can have them study the rest of their peers Sways
and after they do that we can have a large group discussion where we talk about the benefits of
the entire process and how we can get better. Another way can be to also give them options on
where to make their visual. Another option for technology can be Adobe Spark.
