Attendance Tardy Policy allowed at any time.
Attendance is very important to your Student tardys will be monitored on a year- in.the classroom!**
success in this class. An absence is no long, per period basis with the following
excuse for late assignments. It is your consequences:
responsibility to come to me to find 1st – 2nd tardy: Verbal reminder/ warning
out what you missed upon returning 3rd tardy: parent contact
from an absence. I expect everyone 4th – 6th tardy: ISD Detention
to be in class and on time every day. 7th – 9th tardy: In School Suspension
10th -13th tardy: OSS, Out of School Suspension
Be sure to read and be familiar with 14th tardy: OSS and ScIP Referral

Students, regardless of grade, can retake any test Unit test within 5
days of the teacher posting the grade in PowerSchool as long as all
practice work is complete for that unit and tutoring has been
attended. The test will not be the exact same test, and must be
completed in front of the teacher during lLT. Students will not be
allowed to retake quizzes.

Grade Calculation: Grading Scale:
Tests and projects 50% A 90-100%
Quizzes and activities 30% B 80-89%
Daily activities 20% C 70-79%
D 60-69%
**Late work will be penalized.** F 0-59%
