In 2004, SOEMCO amended its name to Socorro Empowered People's Cooperative and changed its common bond from institutional to residential. From 2009 to 2014, SOEMCO opened five new branches in Dapa, Surigao, Alegria, Claver, and Cantilan to serve its growing membership.

    organize a cooperative

    July 18, 2004


    The General Assembly resolved to amend the name of the Cooperative into Socorro Empowered
    People’s Cooperative and changed the common bond of interest from institutional to residential.

    July 2, 2009 to May 16, 2014


    Five New SOEMCO branches were opened to cater the needs of the growing membership. Dapa,
    Surigao, Alegria, Claver and Cantilan brances.

    Mission
    SOEMCO is committed to uplift the socio-economic condition of the members by providing quality
    financial products and non-financial services.

    Vission:
    SOEMCO is the preferred inclusive, Entrepreneurial and Sustainable cooperative in Caraga Region.
