Its 6.0 bands over all and individually I have scored Reading 6.0, Listening- 6.5, Writing -5.5, Speaking

Why you have decided to study this course?

As I have keen interest in accounting profession and would like to start my career as a professional
accountant so my course is a right way to accomplish my goals. In my program at JCU I will develop
ability for critical thinking, and essential business & accounting skills that are expected by employers in
their employees. While studying in JCU, I will also groom my managerial skills to work as a professional
candidate at junior or assistant level managerial positions.

What you will study in this course?

Management accounting, corporate finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Principles, introduction to
accounting, business law, taxation law, accounting for corporations, the changing business environment,
advanced issues in accounting, economics for sustainable world, data analysis & decision modeling,
managing strategic resources and operations.

Why you want to study in Australia?

Choosing to study in Australia will provide me wonderful opportunities and experiences with world class
education environment. Few reasons which help me to reach at my decision were: Advanced Learning
Environment as world class education quality is given to international students with new techniques and
methodologies, Recognized Institutions as courses are flexible with global value in terms of their
graduate outcomes. Moreover, universities are regulated by Australian government and linked with AQF
(Australian Qualification Framework), Multicultural Society so students interact with different peoples
those are from different cultures which helps them to improve their communication skills and getting
experience of international exposure. Moreover, in Australia, students experience with good
transportation system, scholarship, and part-time working opportunity. I have also checked the same
course in USA (New York University, University of California) & UK (University of Bedforshire &
University of East London) but there master programs are for 1 year with high cost. Secondly living
expenses are little high in USA & U.K. So, I am quite satisfied with education in Australia with affordable
cost of living and flexible cost of education in safe living atmosphere.

Why did you choose this university?

I have approached to James Cook University which is situated in Queensland State of Australia. It is well
known university for their programs, flexible approach, and supportive environment for education. Its
courses are very flexible and designed as per the industry requirements. It offers good quality of
education with advanced learning environment to international students while using new or updated
techniques and e-learning facility. The staff members of JCU are very experienced and knowledgeable to
provide best education to its students and put them on right track to lead success in career. In terms of
cost JCU offers courses at normal prices as compare to other universities (QUT- AUD 30000, Griffith AUD
31000, & University of Queensland AUD 33000) which can be easily bearable by students or financially
affordable. Graduates of JCU are able to: apply advanced knowledge of accounting and business
concepts, apply problem solving/design and decision making methodologies, communicate proficiently

Actually I have discussed with my friends those are already in Brisbane and also consulted with my
consultant. After discussion I have searched my own through university website.

Yes I have my friends and school mates in Brisbane those are studying there as a fulltime student.

Why did you choose this course and how does it relate to your previous study?
Being a commerce background student my proposed Business Accounting course is relevant with my
previous studies. As we all know that, Accounting is a language of business and its knowledge can help
individuals and business organizations understand how to use resources to the best advantage. My
program provides an advanced understanding of accounting principles and practice within business. The
course is designed to enhance a student’s ability as it consists of subjects like: Accounting principles,
corporate accounting, corporate law, auditing, business economics, management accounting,
accounting info. Systems, commercial law, Australian tax law, accounting theory etc. My program in JCU
is accredited with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Institute of Public
Accountants (IPA) and CPA Australia (CPA) which give opportunity to get membership of these
authorities on the basis of its entry requirements.

I am fully sponsored by my parents & grandparents as they have sufficient finances & income from
agriculture & business to support me financially.

I have prepared myself for my interview but I have taken some help from internet, friends and my
counselor to gather information.

Have you gone through the details of visa conditions?

I am going for degree program so I have to maintain 80% attendance and minimum 50% academic
performance to complete my program successfully. Moreover, I cannot change my education provider
before 6 months. In higher education sector, health insurance is compulsory for international students
till the time they will remains in Australia. And the main thing is the student should be financially sound
& sponsored by a family member who is having sufficient income and savings to provide support for
studies, living & travelling. Lastly student will allow to do work part time 40 hours per fort nightly during
study period to earn daily expenses and to get international working exposure.
