Workplace Assessment Portfolio
Submission Instructions
To complete the activities and tasks outlined in the Workplace Assessment Portfolio, type
in the answers to each assessment question in this document. Guidelines on the number
of words for each question are provided. Once you have completed your assessment and
scanned the additional pieces of required evidence, save and upload it to your unit, and
then submit the portfolio.
In addition, you will be required to provide evidence for the elective units of competency
requiring workplace assessment. This could include:
You can upload your portfolio activity files at any time during your final Module. You can also delete these
files if you want to replace them with improved versions. To do this:
1. Name your files as instructed in the checklist below. Make sure you save a copy of these files to
your computer’s hard drive or your external storage device. It is important that you keep a copy of all
electronic and hardcopy assessments you submit to Open Colleges.
2. Go to the Structured Workplace Learning link on the OpenSpace. Click on the Portfolio link.
3. Click on Upload files then Add files. Follow the prompts and then Save changes. If you have
already added files, go to Edit files to add extra files.
4. To delete files, go to Edit files, click on the file and choose Delete.
5. DO NOT click on the Send for marking button at this stage.
You will need to check the submission instructions against how the final document is developed
and formatted.

Reflect on the following aspects of WHS team meetings and discuss how you have – or
would –conduct a WHS team meeting in your workplace. Focus on the following topics
that would typically come up in a WHS meeting.

Part B: Choose one task that has to be done daily (for example, feeding) and one that has to be

Part B: Upload a stock inventory document you have completed. If you are unable to do
this briefly describe how the organization monitors and maintains their budgeted stock
levels to ensure they do not run out of supplies (e.g. food).
