ELECTRICAL COMPONENT AND BATTERY DISCHARGE RISK - RP7958
MANDATORY
Advice
To avoid electrical component damage or battery discharge, wait ten minutes after turning
off the ignition switch, before turning the main isolation switch to the off position.
Action
Apply an explanatory decal on the right cab glass and a decal on the battery cover, as
shown in figure 1.
The RP should be completed at PDI or before machine installation.

Details of the affected machines are available in the “view RP information” on AGCOnet.
Claims submitted must be clearly marked RP7958.
Claims must be made using Failure Code R7958.
0.5 hours labour allowance will be granted per machine, this includes a contribution for
travel to retailed machines.
All work must be completed and claims submitted by 31/08/2012.
