About Me
After working in financial services for eight years, I took a break to have children.
During this time, I re-evaluated the relationship between my career and my personal
values, and decided to pursue a career in teaching. While completing the Master of
Teaching (Secondary) degree, I worked as a School Services Officer for the
Department for Education and undertook a variety of volunteer roles.

I believe in community engagement and helping disadvantaged members of society.

As an educator, I am interested in literacy in disadvantaged contexts, particularly in
Contact: low SES schools, and making English relevant for all students.
