Chapter 1 | What is Organizational Behavior? (20pts)


Key Takeaway:
Employees are main contributors of company’s assets and profits because of their skills
that fulfills the needs of the company to achieve daily progress. Studying their behavior placed a
very important role of the managers under the company. Comprehensive studies will show and
will implement strategies in order to understand what are the needs of the employee, what
makes them more productive, and understanding their health to make sure they are comfortable
with their job and to secure the company’s profitability and competitiveness.

Chapter 2 | Diversity in Organizations (20pts)


Key Takeaway:
The society has a vast of different culture and companies should consider or put
emphasis to its importance as they will hire people and inevitably, not all have the same culture.
It is a big advantage to engage in multiculturalism as it will provide a good view to study different
racial and ethnic background that will help the company keep a personal touch to their
employees. A good company will attract a lot of job seekers with good working background and
quality services if they will practice implementing their sensitivity program.

Chapter 3 | Attitudes and Job Satisfaction (20pts)


Key Takeaway:
People are affected by their emotional state such as their attitude that makes them behave
in a certain way and it is a must for managers to consider their employees attitude issues. An
employee that are satisfied with their jobs while motivate them to be productive and the key to
make them feel comfortable is by studying also their patterns of attitude and it’s resolution. It’s a
win-win situation gaining the trust and hearts of the employees to attain the goals of the
company.
