Refinement Notes

I spent a lot of time making the


background more aesthetically
pleasing and paid specific
attention to the colors so that
the content would contrast
more effectively. I also added
section headings to the titles to
split the information apart and
provide even more structure
to overall flow of the design.
Halfway down the gradient, I
inverted the colors so that the
text would be lighter and more
visible against the darkening
background. I increased a lot of
the heirarchy in the typography
with shifts in glyph weights
and sizes. I made sure that the
title of the infographic and the
sponser, Mother Jones, were
the most important elements
in the design, and therefore the
largest and most contrasted.
Aside from that I just did general
illustration tightening up.
