Sangeeta is 15 years old. She is a 9th grader at The Cathedral and John
Connon School, Mumbai. She is also a student of the SOI Music Academy
since the past 5 years under, Ms Gulzara Shakir. She started violin lessons at
the NCPA Suzuki Music Program when she was 6 years of age. Last year was
an exceptional year for her. She won a Gold Medal at the Third International
Music Competition – Jumeirah Sounds held in Dubai on 31st October 2019 in
the solo violin category (age 11 to 14 years) and the Silver medal in the
Chamber Music category. In the same month, she was selected to play in the
Symphony Orchestra of India concert at The National Centre of Performing
Arts – Mumbai with Maestro Marat Bisengaliev. One of the most exciting
performances so far for her has been the one on International Women’s Day
2017 at Manart Saadiyat Auditorium in Abu Dhabi with the SOI Music
Academy’s Children’s orchestra. Music is an irreplaceable part of Sangeeta’s
daily routine, be it practicing the violin, piano or singing with her guitar. Other
than music she is fond of reading fiction.

Passagalia The Rosary Sonatas, also known as the Mystery Sonatas by
Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber are a collection of 15 short sonatas for violin and
continuo, with a final Passacaglia for solo violin. It is presumed that the
Mystery Sonatas were completed around 1676, but they were unknown until
their publication in 1905. The music of Biber was never entirely forgotten due
to the high technical skill required to play many of his works; this is especially
true of his works for violin. Once rediscovered, the Mystery Sonatas became
Biber's most widely known composition. Tango Etude No.3 Astor Pantaleón
Piazzolla ( March 11, 1921 – July 4, 1992) was an Argentinian tango
composer, bandoneon player, and arranger. His works revolutionized the
traditional tango into a new style termed Nuevo tango, incorporating elements
from jazz and classical music. A virtuoso bandoneonist, he regularly performed
his own compositions with a variety of ensembles. In 1992, American music
critic Stephen Holden described Piazzolla as "the world's foremost composer
of Tango music". 6 Tango-Etudes written for Flute solo and Violin Solo and
very often playing as Encore. The most popular is Tango No.3.
