 AICTE Approval of all PG courses (M.TECH)
Many branches in PG are not currently AICTE approved, VICE-PRESIDENT
having had successful approvals last year, we'd make sure that
 SHIKHAR ZUTSHI
all the branches get AICTE approved. This will make students
eligible to register in courses where they clear the exam but (B.TECH)
fail to register due to non-accredited courses. GENERAL SECRETARY
IMPLEMENTATION  KARTIK SINGH
The SA would make sure that the TEQIP fund is utilized in
raising the infrastructure of labs and all the necessities of (B.TECH)
accreditation is fulfilled. JOINT SECRETARY
 PG Academic Association
An academic association of M.tech students will be formed
comprising of Alumni and students of M.tech who have
excelled in that particular field.
IMPLEMENTATION
The aspirants of GATE, UPSC and other exams will have
alumni from the same branch to mentor and guide them in
their preparation.
 Increment in Hostel seats
The no. of hostel seats for M.tech Outside Delhi candidates
will be increased
IMPLEMENTATION
Prior allocation of seats in hostel is to be done, at least for
outside Delhi candidates
 PG Uniform Attendance Timings
We will consider AICTE norms of working for fixed working
hours for getting stipend.
IMPLEMENTATION
The SA would prioritize this issue and recommend the
authorities to streamline the attendance timings to suit the
students and fix it one particular slot
 PG SA Volunteers
A group of M.tech students can work and guide a large group
of volunteers and suggest them initiatives that they need to
run.
IMPLEMENTATION
A form is to be released for all the interested students and
previous members can continue without re-registering.
 Separate locker rooms for TA
Teaching Assistant are provided double sharing lockers which
cause much inconvenience and hinders ones right to privacy
IMPLEMENTATION
Single lockers will be provided to the Teaching Assistants for
their convenience.
 Introduction of some other Indian startup, funded by Delhi
Govt./NGO/ DTU Administration, just like OFO
cycles(which failed recently) for the convenience of students.
It can be funded by the Student welfare fund.
 Proposal for new canteen
A new canteen is to be proposed, as the intake of students has
been increased and there is a great rush at the present 2
canteens, thus causing the students to come late to the class
and hence hindering their academics
