 Chronometer:
A timepiece or timing device with a special mechanism forensuring and adjusting it
s accuracy, for use in determininglongitude at sea or for any purpose where very exa
ctmeasurement of time is required.

Methods

1. Ensure that the equipment is ready and the measuring gauges purged for the
implementation of the practice.
2. Take all measurements and geometric data from the pipes and accessories of the
system.
3. Turn on the hydraulic bench and flow through the system.
4. Open all the valves and purge the piezometers to remove the air they may have.
5. Regulate the flow rate with the system valve.
6. Measure the flow rate and take the differences in piezometric heights.
7. Repeat the procedure for two other different flows.
