The table chart describes fivethe qualifications of education between women and men twenty-one

years ago (1999) in Australia and it presents theits percentages for each group. Overall, males are
more often to take school in higher education than womean.

There are two options in taking school, diploma and degree. In skilled vocational diploma, between
males and femaleswomen, there was is totally different numbers with discrepancy 80%, with males
90% and women only 10%. Being Inline with the previous group, postgraduate diploma hads a higher
number of men with 70% than women (30%). In the opposite of both trends, undergraduate
diploma hads more quantity ofin woman to takkinge this course with 70%. It was doubled the
number of than men who take only half of it, 35%.

The percentage of bachelor degree hads a slight difference with solely 10%, with Males (55%) and
women (45%) respectively. While in master degree, males dominated to take this course with 60% of
the total number of students whereas women students wereare less 20% compared toof men, 40%.
The number of students for both diploma and degree wasis mostly men.

The bar chart describes the proportions of five types of education qualification taken by women and
men in Australia after graduating from school in 2020. Overall, there were more men than women
who took higher education.

Completing the school subjects, most of the students who continued their study in the skilled
vocational diploma were male with 90%, far higher than the females. Men were also the majority in
post graduate diploma with 70% while the women were only 30%. The similar trend also occurred in
the masters’ degree. The large number of the students studying (60%) of them were male students
whereas the rest of it was females (40%).

On the two other groups, women led the percentages. In contrast to the trend of the post graduate
diploma, in the undergraduate diploma, female students were 70% and males were 30%. In the
bachelor degree, although it was not significant, the proportion of women outweighed the men with
55% and 45%, respectively.
