1.1 Background of KMH

KAM MUSIKA HOSPITAL is registered under KAM DSM PHARMACY LIMITED

Company, this company was found and registered under the law of United Republic of Tanzania
companies Act of 2002 in the year 2004 with registration number 48694. The headquarters of the
company is at Kimara Korogwe, Ubungo Municipal Dar-es-Salaam Tanzania, where the hospital
is located too. KAM Musika Hospital complies with the Ministry of Health and Social welfare
guidelines that allows the Hospital to operate at District level.

The best part of KAM Musika Hospital includes its ability to cope with upward and changing
demand which is operational in several factors mainly competitive, economic, social and
technological improvement as far as healthcare services are concerned.

The hospital have enough qualified and experienced health workers including Doctors, trained
Nurses, Specialists, Technical staffs, Administrative staffs and supportive staffs to support the
company activities. We have a total of enough numbers of employees who works 24/7 to make
sure our patients get services of quality and at the right time. Also is equipped with the modern
facilities which simplify the work of service providers and patient feel better when getting services.

Strategically the hospital is located at Kimara Korogwe, Ubungo municipal Dar-es-Salaam.The

1.7 Governance and Management Structure

KMH has a Governing Board that oversees administrative matters of the hospital which includes
ensuring sound governance and management systems, development of structures, mobilization of
resources, investments and appointments. The day-to-day running of the hospital is vested in the
MOI who is the Chief Executive Officer. The MOI is responsible for the overall coordination and
supervision of the programmes and activities of the hospital working closely with the
administration and all staffs.

1.8 Hospital Bed Capacity

With 116 high quality beds capacities, the hospital provides some bed rest and our service is 24/7,
we can manage any case that comes to our facilities that’s because we have well trained and
qualified medical personnel and the hospital is equipped with modern equipment.

Our hospital has a modern tools that can make patients feel more safe and secure. We have fire
extinguisher in case of emergency we can use to settle fire problem, In case of emergence you can
