Note: Attach all the documents mentioned above and dispatch at the following address: Room-G/17,
Faculty of Education, AIOU, H-8, Islamabad. Late applications will not be included in the selection
process. Last date for the application is 25th January 2021.
GUIDELINES FOR SCOTLAND PAKISTAN SCHOLARSHIPS
FOR YOUNG WOMEN AND GIRLS Master’s/MPhil
2020-2021
Scholarships Subject areas
The Scotland Pakistan Scholarship is being offered to FEMALE STUDENTS pursuing a Master
or MPhil in any one of the following fields:
• Education
• Sustainable Energy
• The Master’s/MPhil degree wants to pursue is no longer than 2 years (i.e. the program you are
applying for can be no longer than 2 years. If the programme is longer than 2 years, then you are
not eligible for the scholarship)
• Female applicant has a confirmed offer/admission from AIOU. (i.e. you must have applied for
a master’s degree and received an offer from AIOU, admitting you to a programme in the AIOU)
• Female applicant enrolled in AIOU in one of the following subject areas only: Education,
Sustainable Energy, Food Security and Agriculture, Health Sciences or STEM Education
Supporting documents need to provide along with the application form
For a complete scholarship application, the following documents must be submitted along with a
duly filled out application form:
• Salary slip of Parent/Guardian (You may also choose to submit a pension slip or any proof of
parent’s/guardian’s employment status)
• Copy of tuition fee schedule for the programme you are pursuing. (If you need to utilize hostel
facilities, please be sure to present a fee schedule for the hostel costs as well).
5. What does this scholarship cover? Pakistan Scottish Scholarship Scheme will facilitate
award-holders with the following:
• Travel to and from home to university two times a year for students staying in on-campus
hostels
• The master’s/MPhil degree you want to pursue is no longer than 2 years (i.e. the program you
are applying for can be no longer than 2 years. If the programme is longer than 2 years then you
are not eligible for the scholarship)
