c They are the first fruits (beginning of sacrifice) of the redeemed (bought from
the market) of man (fallen nature) unto God (Rev 14:4). In other words, they are those who are
presented to God that were purchased by the blood of the Lamb from the fallen nature of man on earth.

A better question to ask would be

  c

It is a number of a man (Rev 21:17) ͞And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and
forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.͟ One could say that here
the measure cubit is that of an angel measurement. Then why does it not say that any where else in
Scripture? Why here and why a few verses back did it not specify who owned the furlong? No, this
measure (144) is a measure of a man, that is, of the angel: Jesus.

͞For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son
of God, u
 , u
 u u u : that we henceforth
be no more children͙but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things͙͟ Eph 4:12-15.

͞Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye
judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.͟ Matt 7:1-
2. Measurement is judgment. The 144,000 are those judged of God to have been measured against
Christ Jesus and found worthy ͞they are without fault before the throne of God͟ Rev 14:5.

 c
is left up to God to know. However, directly after
the 144,000 is broken down into the 12 tribes it states: ͞After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude,

  u u
, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the
throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands͙͟ Rev 7:9. This is
speaking of the 144,000 so why does it state that no man can number?

We should ask,

͙͞God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it͙thou art found weighed in the balances,
and art found wanting.͟ Dan 5:26-27. To number is to judge.

͞And satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel͙And
Joab answered, the LORD make his people a hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the
king, are they not all my lord͛s servants? Why then doth my lord require this? Why will he be a cause of
trespass to Israel?...And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he smote Israel. And David said
unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing͙͟ 1 Chron 21:1,3,7. According to this
scripture ͚no man could number͛ the 144,000 because they could lay no charge, or accusation, against
the elect. Man could not judge God͛s people, not without bringing judgment upon himself, only God
could number them.

This holds up as well. ͞For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the
world; but that the world through him might be saved.͟ John 3:17. And, ͙͞He was numbered with the
transgressors.͟ Mark 15:28. Christ Jesus came in the flesh, sinful flesh, to become our measure, our
example to follow (and so much more than that). In Him, we are to grow unto the fullness of His stature
where we will reflect the Glory of God and be the Light of the world.

͞And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?͟ Luke 12:25

Let us look at the context of the stature of
Jesus. ͞And the wall of the city had u , and in them the

. And he that talked with me had to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and
the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and : and he

   u . And
 u u u u ,
according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper:
and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.͟ Rev 21:14-18

It is interesting to note what fulong means-stadia, fixed race course, length of the Olympic course. This
verse comes to mind-͞Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge͙Their
line (rule, direction) is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them
hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, which is as the bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and
rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.͟ Ps 19:2,4-6.

͞I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the wise, nor yet
riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor of men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them
all.͟ Ecc 9:11

͞Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may
obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain
a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one
that beateth the air: but I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means,
when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.͟ 1Cor 9:24-27.

͞Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside
every weight, and the sin that doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set
before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before
him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For
consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in
your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin

Lo, I am with you, even unto the end of the world͙
