Secret of Yeast

As a child I loved to visit my Grandmother, she I had her recipe, I was following it but it never turned

Step 4: Cinnamon Roll Recipe

My All time favorite Sunday Morning treat! warmed milk/water/butter liquid has been mixed in
with a portion of the dry ingredients.
Liquid Ingredients:
Sit allow the dough to rise for 1 hour.
1 cup milk
Roll out the dough in a rectangular shape.
1/4 cup water
Cinnamon Roll filling:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup of White Castor Sugar
Yeast Secret, heat till 110 degrees F
3/4 cup of Brown Sugar
1 egg (remember don't heat this up, or you will have
scrambled eggs :) 1 Tablespoon of Cinnamon

Dry Ingredients: Raisin's are optional

1/4 cup melted butter


4 cups of Flour (All Purpose Flour)
Mix the sugar's and Cinnamon together, pour the
1/4 teaspoon salt (mix in with flour) butter over the top of the rolled out dough, sprinkle
the sugar mixture evenly over the top.
1 package of dry yeast (1 Tablespoon)
Roll the rectangle up and cut into even pieces, place
1/2 cup of Sugar on a greased pan and allow to rise for an hour, then
place in the 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Mix as described in the Dry Ingredients step, adding
the egg after the initial first mix of the 110 degree

Step 5: Grandma's Bread Recipe

Makes (2) 9"x5" loaves 2 packages yeast (2 Tablespoons)

Liquid Ingredients: 3/4 cups sugar

1 cup water Mix as described in the Dry Ingredients step.

1 cup milk
Sit allow the dough to rise for 1 hour.
1/2 cup sunflower oil
Divide the dough in half and place in 2 greased 9"x5"
Yeast Secret, heat till 110 degrees F
Rise a second time for 1 hour
Dry Ingredients:
Bake for 40 minutes in a 350 degree oven (if the top's

3 cups Wheat Flour
