The magical chicken legend

Once upon a time in Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi, there lived a husband and wife
named Dopang and Bangun. At that time the wife was in a state of old pregnancy, until the
time to give birth. When it's time to give birth, then get ready for Dopang to welcome the

Tulangdidi.

They immediately met Dopang and Bangun, Tulangdidi's parents, and delivered the news
they received and they urged that Tulangdidi be killed for the safety of the people of Tana
Toraja.

Both parents Tulangdidi helpless to face the public pressure, so finally agreed to kill
Tulangdidi. But they asked for time until the age of Tulangdidi was enough to be killed. His
father also promised to kill Tulangdidi himself with his hand, it was agreed by the
community.

Bone had grown into a healthy child, smart and clever, until the time came when Tulangdidi
will be killed by his Father himself. So Tulangdidi-also invited his father into the forest that is
very far from their home. A chicken egg given to her mother Tulangdidi as stock. Upon
arrival in the forest, the chicken eggs were placed in a bird's nest in the tree, before
Tulangdidi was eventually killed by his own Father.

community and reporting that he had killed Tulangdidi.

Tulangdidi.
