He was originally diagnosed on November 9, 2020. He fought significant battles in order to rejoin his four children, two stepdaughters and eight beautiful Grandchildren. After three courageous months, Bruce has moved on to what | believe is a glorious and peacetul place. Please know that Albert Einstein Academy was realized because of Bruce’s creativity, stubborness and sheer drive to give all students a place where they could feel safe and lear. He once told me that his father taught him that God put some people on this earth to be helpers and some people walked this earth needing help. He always felt fortunate with his gifts and experiences and he was unequivocally a helper. For those of you who knew him well, (and most likely hated his snow day policies), know that AEA was his pride ‘and joy. When we started on this venture in spring of 2013, he said, “Come on Kristen, we can do this. It will be fun” Iknow he cared deeply for each and every one of our families. He was proud that you chose to be a part of a ‘community which gives all children a place to feel safe and loved. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as our family attempts to navigate life with this significant loss, For those who knew him, (and loved his videos), he will be deeply missed.
