    1. Is this a purely backend PL/SQL development position or is Data modeling involved?


    2. What is the environment? Oracle or Oracle Exadata? What version of Oracle?
    3. Is this OLTP side development to support the Front end tool by writing stored
    procedures/triggers/tuning the tool generated SQL queries? Or to support the data warehousing
    for bulk loading or to support BI tool generated queries?
    4. Is there an ETL tool involved in data loading? Is the ETL tool knowledge required? Do you use
    SQL loader?
    5. Is App DBA experience needed?
    6. What level of performance tuning experience is needed? Developer level or App DBA level?
    7. What is the level of UNIX knowledge required?
    8. Do you need any scheduling tool knowledge, like Autosys, Cronjob etc?
    9. Is this an Agile environment?
    10. Is this an individual contributor role or a team lead/mentor role?
    11. Is XML usage required? What level of knowledge?
    12. What are the top 5 things this individual will be doing on a daily basis 80% of the time?
