1. After I’ve watch the first video entitled “Overview of Government accounting” it enlightens me the
different things about how important our government funds and taxpayer’s payment to properly maintain
the needs of our country. Governments funds is from the sources of Taxes, Contributions from people,
Loan, grants. And many more but the most important thing about government accounting is to provide
information to facilitate decision making. It also enlightens the importance of budgeting. It is the important
considerations in government accounting since government agencies and other recipients of government
money are accountable to tax payers and must demonstrate compliance with the intended uses of budgeted
resources. This kind of learning activity helps me more to understand what is the overview of government
accounting starting with the font size of the PowerPoint, voice of the professor and the most interesting part
is how he given an accurate example to the topic.

2. “Budget on process” the second topic that I’ve watched helps me more to understand the steps in budget
process. As I said earlier in the first video government budget is the most important consideration of
government accounting, it is Important because it enables the government to plan and manage its financial
resources to support the implementation of various programs and projects that best promote the
development of the country. with help of this I can easily understand the process of it. Every year has a
national budget to be able to estimate the sources and uses of government funds. Imagine without having
government budget we cannot have a plan for the allocation of the money for our nations. DBM also plays
an important role in budgeting, because ensures the proper allocation of cash as a student it is very
important for me to know this topic because at my early stage of learning it helps me to enlighten more
how it works.

3. The third lesson video was entitling “Government Accounting Process” in this lesson it helps me to learn
more about to record the basic transaction of a government entity and to know the government accounting
cycle. Started from the journal, ledgers and registries but it enlightens me that some of the account was
similar to the private sectors entity which basically means that they a have similarity in terms of accounts.
In terms of different registries, it amazes me how every one of them gives a big contribution to properly
manage the money. Id’ like Also the way he explains further more with the supporting example.

4. “Revenue and other receipt” video lesson helps me more to understand about the fundamental principles
of revenue in terms what we should know first before we’ve collect and the rules about the revenue. The
next thing I’ve learn is to state the sources of revenue of a government entity. It enlightens me answering
the question, where does the revenue of the government came from. But now I do understand that taxes
were not the only sources of it. And lastly he tackled about the state of recognition and measurement of
revenue. It helps me understand more about in each sources what is their principles. This video very
interesting it helps me to understand more about the topic especially on some parts that I can’t understand.

5. Lastly, the video was entitled “Disbursement” for now, I can easily understand the state main concept in
the disbursement of government funds basically he tackles about the fundamentals for disbursement of
public funds, and secondly I understand more about account for the different modes of disbursement. He
tackles about what would be the journal entry that government agencies prepared for different modes of
disbursement. Before disbursement you have to make sure that it is accordance with the law. This lesson
was very helpful to every student specially when they wanted to get the field in disbursement of
government accounting. Those kinds of lesson started form the first to fifth lesson helps me to understand
more especially when a students didn’t get the lesson they can easily reply the information to gain more
knowledge.
