Follow up investigatory meeting specific to the allegations against Our Father’s House with Judith Pasierb and
Robert Antonioni.
Judith and Robert addressed the following issues.
Nothing recent has been reported to either the Executive Director or members of the Board
The allegations from several years ago there was a Police Report of which nothing was sited and Our
Father’s House hired an independent attorney to investigate in addition to the Police and nothing noted.
Since that time, the Executive Director and Board have not been made aware of any recent problems or
issues specific with Kevin McLean.
Current grievance procedures, do clients receive them in writing? Are they Posted? Yes, noted Judith. A
copy of their grievance procedure and notice and posters were requested. Judith agreed a copy for our
review.
Judith provided an update on the investigation being conducted on the OFH currently by the Fitchburg
Police Department and we were informed that the case was officially closed as they had found no
evidence and all allegations seemed to come from 2nd or 3rd hand informants. She plans to request a full
report of the investigation and invited the HRC to request one as well.
Robert reported that although he does not deal with situations like these personally since he is a member
on the Board of Directors, if he were to receive a report of any problems, he would surely inform Judith of
the situation and initiate an investigation. However, he is not aware of any problems so far.
Judith stated that Kevin McClain is an honorable man. Summarizing a few aspects of his life, she explains
that he volunteered in the ghettos of Philadelphia for 2 years before coming back to Fitchburg and helping
out at the Fathers House for around 11 years. She also explained that whenever Kevin goes out into the
public to search for homeless individuals, he has a body camera on him as well as another one equipped
in his vehicle.
OFH recognized that several food pantries had recently closed down due to the COVID‐19 pandemic, so
the Board of Directors partnered up with the Christian Church and the Greater Worcester County Food
Bank to create a food pantry and meal site. They have also invested in a portable shower system that
they drive around to different locations every day. They provide homeless individuals with showers,
toiletries, and any other materials they may need. They have several sites and facilities including Devens
and sober houses. They are a non‐for‐profit agency.
