Write an essay on how you can bring change and environmental awareness in your school and

community as a college student.

Environmental awareness is an understanding of the fragility of our environment and the value of

protecting it. Promoting knowledge of the environment is a simple way to become an

environmental steward and take part in building a brighter future, as a college student I would

like to recycle or reuse my old books so that it can be used for other purposes and we students

nowadays use so much plastic bottles, I would like to have my own bottle or reused my old one

to avoid littering because littering can damage water and sewage systems, wildlife can eat the

waste and soil can absorb toxic elements. And many people believing that they need to buy

everything in the store, or we had known as “panic buying” especially this quarantine, it would

be better if I will only buy what I need to reduce much waste. Also, I would like to encourage

people to work together, to be environmentally friendly and love our nature because there are

many benefits for us if we have a clean environment, if we have a clean environment it prevents

illness and sickness, increases our productivity and it ensures our safety. Loving our nature is

also loving ourselves and a beautiful environment starts with us.
