FUTURE

As the 21st century dawns ahead of us, the future holds what seems to be the best advancements of
our civilization. Man has come a long way since the first computer was invented. It is from that
enormous monster that we have grown off of, (maybe that accounts for the hideous beige metal boxes
computers are housed in). Then along came wires and at the present we are beginning the wire-less
age.

That time when we are beginning live without wires, for me is a future.What lies beyond that may be
the answer to all of man-kind's problems. Remember "the brick"? Also known as a crude cell phone,
it marked the beginning of the cellular age. Because of that phone we now have a giant array of
cellular phones and accessories. Sure, there's the ordinary cell phone that looks cool, speed-dials from
a phonebook, and had a calendar. This past year it is now considered garbage. But do you think
modern technology has made life easier and safer? Or do you think that modern technology has made
life more difficult and more dangerous? Technology today has made life easier and quicker but
dangerous. As we look at technologies, questions are risen. By the way what are technologies?
Modern technology is machinery that makes life easier. For example, microwave ovens cook food
easily without using stoves and making a big mess. And dishwashers put all dirty dishes into the
dishwasher and it washes them. Dishwashers are very easy to use and save time comparing it in the
old fashion way.

For me these ''machines'' are future, but we will never know what some engineers are coming up
with. So my more precise answer is that future is every next day.

TEENAGERS
Many people think that today's generation of children is mzch spoiled, espacially teenagers. They also
think that teenagers have been much more grateful in the past and that they will be even more spoiled
in the future. But are teenagers really spoilt brats?

There are many examples of that they are spoilt brats. Many teenagers today think they are better than
others. They often underestimate others and it is the fault of their parents. These type of children
ussualy get whatever they want from their parents and cannot do anything on their own. Also we often
see that teenagers today making a big fuss about uninportant things and they don't want to accept
their mistakes.

Also there are many examples of teenagers who are not spoiled. There are teenagers who are
independent and hardworking and even make money on their own. They are grateful and they
appreciate what they have. We can see that many teenagers like to help others and they are members
of many organisations that help people, like the red cross. We also see that some teenagers know hot
to calmly accept their mistakes and how to correct them.

So, there are many types of teenagers today. Some of them are spiled and some of them are goody-
goody. But I think that most teenagers are spoilt brats. The biggest examples of this is the bad
behavior of teenagers towards other children and people and the humiliation of others. But I believe
and hope that in the future, this situacions will improve and that teenagers will become move
thoughtful and grateful.

We are what we eat

Today, most people are in business, in a hurry and they pay no attention to what they eat. People do
not have time to prepare healthy food for themself so fast food shops and bakeries are full of people.
They cut themselves and their nutrition last, but that shouldn't be the case?
Our nutrition has an impact on all factors of our lives: physical appearance, strenght energy, and also
on our emotion and psyche. But the most important is that our nutrition has the biggest impact on our
heath. Many people today have problem with obesity nad the reason is bad nutrition-lots of fast foods,
sweets and snacks. Obesity can be very dangerous to our health. It can lead to many serious: health
problems and also have a impact on our mental health. There are many foods that actually can improve
our mood, so it is very importat to eat all the nutrients that we need like vitamins, proteins, fiber and
healthy fats so that our body can function normally. It is also importat to pay attention to the amount
of food we eat, espacially the amount of sweets and fast food. I don't think that modern diets are good
for us and our heath. I think we should eat everything and that it is also okay to eat some sweets
sometimes, but everything should be in moderation.

When we start eating healthier and having regular, physical activity, we weill see changes in our daily
lives. We will soon feel healthier, happier and we will be better in all areas of our lives. So it is true
that we are that we eat.
