1.1.

Work List – Pre-Installation


The contractor shall perform pre-installation checks as follows:
1. Prior to beginning any Work Package (WP), a site survey with the contractor
shall take place in order to familiarize the contractor with the work and address
any changes that may occur.
2. Prior to each system installation the contractor shall conduct a pre- installation
survey to determine that the installation meets the facility requirements, and that
the site is ready to accept the system.
3. The contractor shall review the BOQ for each work package before beginning the
work. The contractor shall notify AIS if additional materials are needed.
4. The contractor shall provide AIS with detailed corrective actions to be taken
prior to the commencement of installation and checkout.

1.2. Work List – Services


The contractor shall provide the following main services as part of this SOW
according to the project BOQ:
1. Performance of all infrastructure work according to the AIS SOW and
documentation.
2. Perform site surveys at the different sites with the AIS representatives during the
different stages, according to the technical and project needs, including all the
required measurements and geological requirements, before and after
construction.
3. Perform all of the work coordination and obtain all required work permits from
all relevant authorities and PTW from the site Oil & Gas Company.
4. Assign a full-time project manager to function as the AIS POC for all AIS project
requirements, information, reports and invoicing.
5. On site meetings, updates, site reviews, documentation and reports.
6. Assign a full-time team of senior civil and electrical engineers who will support
all work stages, perform the detailed design and calculation of the shop drawings,
prepare Full As-Made drawings & plans for all the works that the contractor has
performed.
7. Assign a full-time team of supervisors as required by the PTW, inspection,
supervision, tests and commissioning of all types of work that the contractor will
perform.
8. Assign HSE officers who will support, guide, inspect and coordinate all issues
associated with HSE while the work is under way, including but not limited to
HSE planning and risk analysis. The number of officers shall be according to the
applicable regulations of ADOC the site Oil & Gas operating company.
9. The contractor shall provide all the necessary equipment, materials, tools,
machines and test equipment (EMTS) necessary to perform the design,
installation, integration and warranty tasks, as defined in the project scope of
work.
10. Warranty as per AIS requirements.
11. Apply QA/ QC and internal ATP including laboratory test results according to
AIS procedures, for all work that the contractor has performed, then ATP with
AIS and end customer.
12. Provide specifications for equipment and shop drawings of the site civil and
electrical works.
13. Provide As-Made drawings of the site civil and electrical works.
14. The contractor shall be responsible to pass all the necessary courses, obtain all
the necessary permits and follow whichever applicable procedures that may be
required to obtain clearance to the site.

1.3. Equipment Specifications


AIS shall provide specifications for equipment which the contractor will be required
to provide as per the site work drawings. The contractor shall provide an example of
each type of equipment for AIS approval prior to commencement of work.

1.3.1. Supply and Installation


1. AIS shall provide:
a. All types of cables (power, grounding, communication).
b. All type of new fences and related accessories including gates.
c. Towers, poles with anchor bolts and templates.
d. Security device equipment.
e. The goods shall be provided at the AIS warehouse in the area. The contractor
shall transport the goods to the site as per the work plan.
2. The contractor shall provide all the remaining materials including all the
accessories necessary for the accomplishment of the entire project. All equipment
shall be in compliance with AIS specifications and plans.
3. The contractor shall obtain approval for each type of material from AIS and from
any other authority if needed. The contractor shall provide an example of each
type of equipment for AIS approval. If necessary the contractor shall submit work
shop drawings for AIS approval.
4. Following is the main list of materials that the contractor shall provide:
a. Pipes, manholes, ladders.
b. Lighting systems, including lighting poles, lighting lamps.
c. Stainless steel cable labels.
d. Marking poles along the cable route.
e. All trenching equipment.
f. All earthwork equipment.
