B-axis Reference Procedure

The B-axis is equipped with a memory so that normally it is not needed to reference in
the morning during normal power up. After a battery change, or any other event that
causes the reference to be lost you will need to follow this procedure.

Parameter Write Enable


Select MDI mode
Press offset setting key
Press the Setting soft key at the bottom of the screen
Select parameter write enable type in a 1 then press the input key
This will give you a alarm that you can not clear, do not worry about it at this time
Press the SYSTEM key then press the PARAM soft key at the bottom of the screen
Type in 1815 then press the NO SCH soft key at the bottom of the screen
Arrow down until the B-axis is Hi-lighted
Type in 00000000 and press the input key
Type in 1425 the press the NO SCH soft key at the bottom of the screen
Change from 50 to 100 by typing in 100 and press input key
Turn off the control and then turn back on
Once the power is back on in reference mode depress and hold the B+ button (on 160iL
controls the enable button next to the B+ must be depressed and held at the same time)
until the B+ light comes on
Select MDI mode
Press the SYSTEM key
Press the PARAM soft key at the bottom of the screen
Type in 1815 and press the NO SCH soft key at the bottom of the screen
Arrow down until the B-axis is Hi-lighted
Type in 00100000 and press the input key
Turn off power and then back on
Re reference the B-axis
Press the SYSTEM key then press the PARAM soft key at the bottom of the screen
Type in 1425 and press the NO SCH key at the bottom of the screen
Change from 100 to 50 by typing in 50 and press the input key
Press the OFFSET SETTINGS key
Press the Setting soft key at the bottom of the screen
Select Parameter Write Enable type in 1 and press the input key
B-axis should keep memory at this time and have no alarms
