My name is Laura Medrano and I am writing to you to express my interest in the

position that is being offered. I first want to start off and say thank you for giving me
the opportunity to apply for this job and taking your time to review my resume, and
application video.

I am a full-time undergrad student at the University of New Mexico. I am majoring in

business management and I am graduating from Anderson School of Management this
spring semester.

I am applying to be your retail operations coordinator at the Gucci store in New York
City. As I was reviewing the job description, I know I am the best candidate for this
position. I have the experience, the required qualities, and the educational background
to succeed in this job. A few of my qualities include:

 I am a hard worker and strive for improvement

 I am highly organized, and detail oriented
 My customer service skills are excellent
 I work very well with others and have leadership skills.

I understand what will be required when offered the job and I am prepared. I have
worked as a secretary for 2 years at a construction company and worked at my local
Michael Kors store for 3 years. With both of these job experiences, I have a wide
understanding of providing a home feeling to all customers that arrive, as well as
know how to use any software to organize merchandise, and overall comprehend how
retail, demand, and sales work in a big market such as Gucci.
