To whom it may concern,

When I was younger I first wanted to become a teacher but after my mother had my youngest
brother, I changed my mind. My brother was born premature, which meant that after birth he could not
home with us. Me and my family spent most of our time at the hospital in the NICU. After spending a
month being in and out of the hospital I became started to become interested in what the nurses did for my
little brother. I learned about this position through the youth apprenticeship website that was presented in
class. I am interested in this position because becoming a nurse is something that I desire and i'm willing
to work through, and through this position I could gain experience to advance my knowledge for the
future. I have volunteered at an Aurora Health care clinic before, I really enjoyed spending my time to
help others. I also got to shadow a nurse there, the nurses from Aurora were very passionate of their work;
proving the best help for their patients which gave me more inspiration to become passionate of helping
others in their well being by giving the best I can. I qualify for this position because I am a good
collaborator, I also am very good at taking care of others.

Soft skills that I have are being organized this not only includes being tidy and clean but having
school work set up in an organized matter; for example projects and lessons. I am also punctual, this can
also being time management which I manage my time with school work and outside work outside of
school. I dislike being late anywhere, and this also includes my organization skills. I dot have any hard
skills yet. I will be taking training classes to become a CNA in January. Soft skills are very important and
even though I don't have many I still have some soft skills that I have to work on.

Being accepted for this position will not only help my future career but it will help build me as a
person. I know I will be able to take advantage of many of the opportunities Aurora Health Care has to
offer and I am willing to give my passion to help others at Aurora. If you have any questions or concerns
