This matter came on for hearing in accordance with Section 162.07, Florida Statutes,
before the Special Magistrate for the Town of Lantana on the 20th day of August, 2020. Based
upon the evidence and testimony presented, the following Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law,
and Order are hereby entered:

FINDINGS OF FACT

1. Respondent, ZENAIDA MARTINEZ, was present at the hearing represented by

Justin Pearson, Esq., and accompanied by Luis Delvalle, a friend.

2. Respondent was given notice of the hearing in accordance with Section 162.12,
Florida Statutes.

3. Respondent is now in compliance with Section 6-30 of the Code of Ordinances of

the Town of Lantana.

4. Fines in an amount totaling One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Two Hundred

Fifty Dollars ($165,250.00) were assessed in the following cases:

CASE# CE13-1116: Seventy-five Dollars ($75.00) per day for 215 days for a
total lien amount of Sixteen Thousand One Hundred
Twenty-five Dollars ($ 1 6, 1 25.00).

 CASE# CEl5-0426: One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($125.00) per day for
379 days for a total lien amount of Forfy-seven Thousand
Three Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($47,3 75.00).

CASE# CE19-0911: Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) per day for 407 days
for a total lien amount of One Hundred and One Thousand
Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($101,750.00).

CONCLUSIONS OF LAW

Respondent is no longer in violation of Section 6-30 of the Code of Ordinances of the

Town of Lantana.

ORDER

Respondent's frnes are hereby reduced to Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) in

total. Respondent shall pay the reduced total fine by December 18, 2020, or the original fines
totaling One Hundred Sixty-f,rve Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($165,250.00) will
automatically be reinstated.

Upon the timely payment of the reduced fine, the Town of Lantana with execute and
record a release of the lien for this code enforcement case.
