Dear Sir or Madam,

I have read the information about the Bachelor in Engineering programs in “Stipendium
Hungaricum Scholarship” and I have found it’s a solid step towards my future career as an
engineer who understands and appreciates science and technology.
I used to learn in a different way as I was educated in a nontraditional system which is
called STEM schools. It’s an American system concerned with science, technology, engineering,
and mathematics. It is a project-based learning and scientific research. Actually, I gained a lot of
experience from STEM in the Academic sector and social life.
STEM education integrates concepts that are usually taught as separate subjects in one
project called the CAPSTONE. In every semester we solve one of Egypt Grand Challenges
which are problems that Egypt faces. We started to solve these problems since I was only 14
years old. Through these different experiences. I learned how to solve any problem related to my
country or personal. I learned how to imagine my thoughts and design them. I have joined many
international competitions like ISEF, Zewil, and science fair with my project which its idea is to
use desert sand's heat and convert it into a renewable source of energy that generates electricity
and also producing water. By this project, I won first place in Zewil Competition founded by
Aviation and Space center and got TV interviews. Moreover, I became the first in science fair
and over my government ”Kafrelshaikh” and my project topped the front page of newspapers as
“Elyoum7”.
I want to set in my fingerprint in the surroundings. I am not a traditional girl, I don’t have a
traditional mind. I am different. I want to show my difference. I don’t want to be such a nerd
who just read books, see people’s stories and opinions and nullify my personality so I got and
still involved in so many student activities, non-governmental organizations community service
organizations and clubs. I’m really proud of my role on ISEF competition in Alexandria library
as Head of Organizing team, also IEEE organization as being one of the makers in the Maker
Fair and Girlz FTW. Beside Robotics competitions like World Robot Olympiad. That is leading
me to be a speaker in an event which was held for Engineering students to tell them about my
success story. I was the youngest one who stood on the stage. People were surprised by me. I
will never forget about being selected as one of the judges in the CAPSTONE Exhibition in
STEM school and selected to be a presenter for SYS event.
I had always been interested in engineering, given my curiosity and strength in math and
creative projects. Engineering offers daily challenges in creative and logical problems, which I’m
sure that I have the ingenuity to do creative projects. And I immersed myself in learning more
about math, mechanics, physics even robotics from various sources like Udemy, MOOCs, and
Coursera.

I always think that to be the best you have to learn from the best so it was Hungary. The
country which appreciates the role of science and rears a new generation of creative minds.
Hungarian universities are one of the oldest and best universities in the world, they have been
repeated in top 100 universities in the world, including the University of Debrecen. “Stipendium
Hungaricum Scholarship" is a valuable way to catch my dreams. I contemplate to pursue my
Master and Ph.D. degrees to approach the summit of knowledge and I’m sure there is no summit
for such thing but I could do a change for Hungary and Egypt. I am certain that this program will
help me to fulfill myself in both professional and personal contexts.

Eventually, after the journey I hope to go through, I will be back to Egypt. Wholeheartedly,
I will enhance it with the living and education standard. I contend to make a Competitive
international company which its main branch in Egypt to manufacture the first Egyptian
Simulator Robot and Air engines to astonish the world. That’s will raise my level and my
country image.

Kind Regards,
Doha Elhoseiny
