ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
Ahmed Madani is a Ph.D. holder from Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT),
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He started his Ph.D. studies in September 2013 and took the degree
in 2017. During his Ph.D. studies, he helped undergraduate students in understating their courses and
helped them in their graduation projects. In addition, he has published three journal papers and one
conference paper. Earlier, he graduated from the department of Computer Engineering from the Arab
Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in September 2003, he started
working in AASTMT since 2004 as a teaching assistant and he finished his M.Sc. in May 2006. Then
appointed as an Assistant Lecturer. Throughout his working period in AASTMT, he taught a numerous
number of courses such as Programming Applications, Neural Networks, Computer Networks I, and
Computer Networks II. he also helped in a plenty of administrative work such as preparing classes and
exams schedules, proctor, preparing exams, preparing model answers, grading, and helping the college of
engineering to receive the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). During his Ph.D.
studies in Malaysia, he helped in establish a celebration between MJIIT and AASTMT in which the students
of both universities have the ability to study some courses or a period at the other university. In addition, an
International conference that already held in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia during the period of 6-7th of
September 2016 and the next year will be in Egypt.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
September 2013-October 2017, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Research Assistant.
- Supervise undergraduate students working on assigned research project.
- Prepare articles, reports and presentations.
- Assist with duties related to the production of academic journals.
- Assist in administrative duties like completing reports, preparing and representing the university in
international conferences and events.
- Helping in the establishment of collaboration between AASTMT and MJIIT,UTM
February 2004 – Present, Arab Academy of Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, Assistant Lecturer.
- The preparation of lectures and seminars, utilizes different teaching methods including group
discussions and training sessions.
- - A range of administrative functions from tableting and setting the exams calendar, supervise the
process and check the university’s system efficiency.
