• After removing the packaging, make sure the appliance is


undamaged and that no parts are missing. If in doubt, do not
use and contact your EASY BREAD Agent.
• Position the machine on a firm, flat and heatproof worktop.
The rubber feet on the bottom of the machine keep the ma-
chine positioned correctly.
• Keep the packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene foam,
etc.) out of the reach of children or unauthorized persons
because they could cause damage or injury.
• The electrical safety of this appliance is guaranteed only with
an effective earth connection in accordance with the applica-
ble electrical safety regulations. EASY BREAD COMPANY does
not accept any responsibility for any damage caused by im-
proper electrical connections.
• Before plugging in the machine, make sure that the opera-
ting voltage of the machine corresponds with the voltage of
your home. If in doubt, contact an expert.
• We recommend that you do NOT use adapters, multiple
sockets or extension cords. If you need to use any of these
devices, use only certified products that comply with all safety
regulations and make sure that they are suitable for the volta-
ge of the machine.
• All installations that do not comply with these specifications
can pose a risk to your safety and may void the warranty.
• The machine is intended solely for making bread with
the EASY BREAD COMPANY SYSTEM capsules.

• This machine is intended for use as a household appliance or


in similar circumstances, including:
- in kitchens for employees in stores,
offices and other commercial environments
- in farm Houses;
- by customers in hotels, motels, and other residential
type environments etc etc;
- in bed & breakfast type environments
• For safety reasons please follow these instructions carefully
- Never use the machine outside the home environment
- Never expose the machine to rain, sun, etc.
- Do not permit the machine to be used by
children or unauthorized persons
- Never pull on the power cord to unplug the machine
- Never leave the machine plugged in while unattended
- Never immerse the machine into water or other liquids
- Never use the machine barefoot
or with wet hands or wet feet
• The appliance is not intended to be used by children or per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appli-
ance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Chil-
dren should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be carried out by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its
cord out of reach of young children.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its service agent or a similar qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.

• If the machine malfunctions, unplug the power cord and do


not open it. Contact your EASY BREAD agent for possible
repairs.
• At the end of the useful life of the machine, make sure that
the machine is disposed of in accordance with regulations. Do
not dispose of in the household waste.
• When passing on this appliance, the instruction manual
must be passed on with the appliance.
• Do not position the appliance on or near gas stoves,
electrical stoves, baking ovens, etc.
• Do not insert hands, metal parts or other
items into the machine while it is plugged in.

• Fill the water tank with fresh water only.


Do not use mineral water, milk or other liquids.
• Do not overfill the water tank.
• Observe the indication for the minimum water level of 400ml
on the water tank.
• Unplug the power plug when the appliance is not in use.
• Do not store the machine in adverse environmental
conditions or where there is a risk of prolonged exposure to
very low temperatures below 0°C
• Do not put the water tank into the dishwasher.

• Do not open the drawer (H) or the lid (B)
when the machine is operating.
• The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of
an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• The temperature of accessible surfaces and internal parts may
be high when the appliance is operating. Take care to use high

INFORMATION FOR USERS


In accordance with European Directives 2002/95/EC, 2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC on the restriction
of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment as well as waste

At the end of its useful life therefore the user must take the device to appropriate collection points

sing a new device of a similar type for a direct swap. Suitable separation of waste and subsequent recycling
of the old device for the purposes of environmentally-compatible recycling and disposal help to prevent any
potential negative effects on the environment and on health and encourage the recycling of materials from
which the device is made. Hazardous substances may get into groundwater and the food chain when electri-
cal devices are discarded improperly into the environment, and this can result in damage to health. Disposing
of the product illegally may result in prosecution.
