Method Statement

SUB – Dismantling activities for upto 15 mtr.

 First of all we will look after all the safety precaution before starting the
job. As follow,
i ) We will Provide all PPE’s to our worker and staff.
ii) Without work permit work won’t be started in any condition. To start
the work, work permit is compulsory.
iii) Use of safety belt above 1.5 mtr will be compulsory.
iv) We will provide scaffolding where ever required to operate or for
blinding process.
v) We will take care of fire water hose and fire extinguisher where ever
cutting job carried out. Also take care of proper boothing by fire blanket.

 Day 1 (After Preparing gate pass and mobilization)

i) Blinding Process will carried out by M/s Zeeco/ M/s Prashant
building tech Pvt. Ltd
ii) After permission given by Process team of IOCL, we will carried
Blinding process for following line

1) TP-01 / 42” FLH-10211-A10A

2) TP-02 / 36” FL-63-2505-A10A
3) TP-10 / 12” SM-6174-1001-B2A-IH

iii) Now, for Utility line we will start Blinding after giving Clearance
from process team of IOCL. And also we need instruction from
process team at which place we have to blind such utility line
because lines are charged yet.
iv) In parallel fixing of scaffolding work will be continues.

 Day 2
i) This day Flushing will by carried out of all Equipment and
connected pipe line by IOCL.
 ii) We will start Blinding of Acid Drum related piping if permission
given by Process team of IOCL.
iii) In parallel fixing of scaffolding work will be continues.
iv) Also we want permission from IOCL side to remove and cut
Instrumentation and electrical cable as well as other equipments.
 Day 3

i) This day Flushing will by carried out of all Equipment and

connected pipe line by IOCL.
ii) In parallel fixing of scaffolding work will be continues for knock out
drum related connected piping.
iii) 100 Ton crane and farana hydra will be mobilized.

 Day 4

i) After getting permit in all manners Cold, hot and height work from
IOCL we will start cutting of piping connected to knock out drum.

ii) In parallel fixing of scaffolding work will be continues for second

Knock out drum related connected piping.
 Day 5

i) We have cut pipe in way that we can easy our transporting to

scrap yard. So, parallel our working will also going for that thing
also.
ii) Process also will be consider for Knock out drum.

 Day 6

i) We will start cutting of piping connected to second knock out

drum.
ii) In parallel fixing of scaffolding work will be continues for water
seal drum related connected piping.
iii) In parallel we will start dismantling of Acid drum related piping.
iv) Shifting of scrap item will continuously taken under progress.
 Day 7

i) On this day we will dismantle both Knock out drum.

ii) We will start cutting of piping connected to water seal drum.

 Day 8
i) We will complete dismantling of Knock out drum.
ii) Will continue to dismantle piping connected to water seal drum.
iii) Shifting of scrap item will continuously taken under progress.

 Day 9
i) On this day we will start dismantle of water seal drum.
ii) In parallel we will start dismantling of Acid drum.
iii) Dismantling of Structural support will be parallel going on.
iv) Preparation to dismantling of blowdown pumps to be started.

 Day 10
i) Dismantling of water seal drum will be continues.
ii) We will complete dismantling of Acid drum.
iii) Removing of blowdown pumps start parallel.
iv) Parallel we will cut and remove all connected cables and
instrumental items.

 Day 11
i) Dismantling of water seal drum will be completed.
ii) Dismantling of blowdown pumps will be completed.

 Day 12
i) Now we will remove structural steel, only which we can remove in
which there are no any other charged line are running.
 ii) We are also cutting Water seal drum and other over size
equipment in transportable size.
iii) Also we will remove all equipment and cables related to
instrumentation and electrical work.

 Day 13

i) We will clear all remaining structure which are to be dismantle.

 Day 14
i) Here we will clear up site from small and large scrap item and
housekeeping will be done parallel.
