Company Background
Bank BJB was formerly known as Bank Jabar Banten. Bank BJB is a BUMD bank owned by the
Government of the Provinces of West Java and Banten with its head office in Bandung. This
bank was established on May 20, 1961 in the form of a limited liability company (PT), then in its
development changed its status to a Regionally-Owned Enterprise (BUMD). Currently BJB Bank
has 65 Branch Offices, 314 Sub-Branch Offices, 349 Cash Offices, 1,529 BJB ATMs, 171
Payment Points, 5 Regional Offices, and 34 Weekend Banking.

The vision of the Bank BJB is to become the 10 biggest and best performing banks in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the mission of the Bank BJB is to drive and drive the pace of the regional economy,
carry out the storage of regional money, one source of local revenue.

As a corporate commitment in carrying out corporate social responsibility, Bank BJB has always
set aside a portion of the company's profits for the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
program and makes the CSR of Bank BJB an integral part of the company. The concrete
manifestation of the role of Bank BJB is embodied in CSR activities in three sectors, namely the
Education, Health and Environment sectors which are spread not only in West Java and Banten
but also in the operational areas of Bank BJB throughout Indonesia.

Research Purpose
To find out more about the CSR program that is being implemented by Bank BJB as a company
that works in the Banking & Investment sector, also to determine how the CSR programs relate
with their values.

Research Methodology
For the research, the group already planned to dig information by a Qualitative approach which
is an interview, with someone from the HR (especially the one that is responsible for CSR
Program) in BJB Bandung.

Below is the research design :

As for the progress, our group has contacted the BJB HR person and set time to do the interview,
which will be held on Monday, 24th of February 2020 at BJB Bandung.
