Paul’s kind grandfather made a prophecy at Paul’s birth that Paul would be compensated with a

large fortune in the future. In order for this to happen, Paul’s grandfather told Paul to act

respectably toward his elders and honor their traditional customs. He reminded Paul never to

speak impudently with people even if he felt infuriated. So, Paul always helped those who were

destitute and cared for his elders. By helping others, Paul also respected himself and became a

successful person.
