ARTIST!AGREEMENT!
This! “ARTIST! AGREEMENT”! (this! “Agreement”)! is! made! by! and! entered! into! between! UCAP! Records! or! UCAP! (the!
“Company”)! and! ___________________________________________________[insert!artist/band! name]! (the! “Artist”),!
and!is!executed!as!a!binding!agreement!as!of!___________________________![insert!date].!

NOW! THEREFORE! in! consideration! of! the! mutual! covenants! and! agreements! set! forth! herein! the! parties! agrees! as!
follows:!!

1.! Artist!agrees!to!the!rules,!terms!and!conditions!set!by!UCAP!through!its!mission!and!vision.!!
2.! Artist!and!UCAP!agree!that!all!copyrights!in!and!to!the!sound!recordings!recorded!under!this!project!shall!be!
the!exclusive!property!of!the!Artist/Songwriter!throughout!the!world!in!perpetuity.!
3.! Artist!agrees!to!execute!the!Mechanical!and!Publishing!Rights!for!UCAP!as!the!administrator!of!this!project!with!
net!shares!of!the!income!that!includes!sales!of!digital!downloads!in!any!digital!platform!such!as!iTunes,!Spotify,!
Youtube,!UCAP!website,!and!all!other!online!music!platforms!as!agreed!50%!(Producer/Label/Distributor)!and!
50%!(Artist/Songwriter).!!
a.! Label/Producer!–!If!the!recording!is!done!in!UCAP!Studios!
b.! Distributor!–!If!the!artist!records!the!material!via!a!third!party!studio!
i.! In! case! the! artist! pre^uploaded! the! materials! on! Spotify,! Apple! Music,! etc.! prior! to! signing!
with!UCAP!Records,!UCAP!shall!not!have!any!income!from!these!channels.!
4.! Artist!agrees!that!any!release!of!recordings!under!this!project!shall!contain!UCAP!Records!preapproved!logos!
and!corresponding!acknowledgement!on!the!information!sheet!provided!under!any!digital!download!release.!
5.! Artist! agrees! that! UCAP! may! use! Artist’s! approved! name! and! likeness! in! all! media! in! promoting! the!
album/project!and!on!all!UCAP!websites!at!no!cost!to!UCAP.!!
6.! Artist! grants! UCAP! the! right! to! take! digital! pictures! and! to! make! audio! and! audio^visual! recordings! of! all!
segments! of! the! project! including! the! name,! voice,! musical! and! vocal! performances,! appearance,! visage! and!
likeness! of! the! Artist! (the! “Production”)! and! further! grants! UCAP! the! right! to! release! the! Production! to! the!
public! by! streaming! over! the! internet,! broadcasting! on! the! radio! and! internet! radio,! posting! to! various! third!
party!website!such!as!Facebook,!broadcasting!on!television!and!otherwise!posting,!streaming,!broadcasting!in!
all!media!throughout!the!world.!!
7.! Artist!agrees!to!perform!on!events,!programs,!or!any!other!showcases!as!part!of!the!promotion!of!the!project!
with!notification!period!of!at!least!one!(1)!month!if!there’s!any.!
8.! Artist! understands! and! accepts! that! UCAP! is! not! in! any! way! required! to! organize! and! execute! events! or! any!
promotional!campaign!to!promote!the!artist!nor!its!songs!and!music!videos.!
9.! Artist! agrees! to! make! sure! that! UCAP! is! acknowledged! (mention! and! approved! logo! inclusion)! in! all!
promotional! materials! for! any! event,! program,! or! any! other! showcase! whether! the! aforementioned! is!
produced!by!UCAP!or!any!other!events!organizer!outside!of!this!agreement.!
10.! No! purchase! of! any! product! is! required! for! Artist! to! enter! into! project,! however! in! order! to! take! part! in! the!
project,!Artist!must!help!promote!and!sell!by!any!means!for!the!benefit!of!both!parties.!!
11.! Artist!hereby!releases!UCAP!and!any!respective!committee,!officers,!partners,!volunteers,!representatives!and!
assigns!from!any!and!all!liability!in!connection!with!the!operation!of!the!project!and!the!Artist’s!participation!in!
the!project,!including!all!actions,!causes!of!action,!damages,!claims!and!demands!whatsoever!and!not!so!as!to!

restrict! the! generality! of! the! foregoing! including! claims! for! breach! of! contract! and!
damages,!loss!and!injury!not!now!known!or!anticipated!but!which!may!arise!in!the!future!
and!all!effects!and!consequences!thereof.!!
12.! Artist!agrees!that!UCAP!may!remove!the!Artist!from!the!website!or!any!online!platforms!
at! any! time! should! UCAP! in! its! sole! discretion! determine! that! the! Artist! is! in!
contravention! of! the! rules! and! mission! and! vision! of! the! organization! and! to! the!
Christian!faith.!!

This! writing! sets! forth! the! entire! Agreement! as! covenant! between! the! parties! with! respect! to! the! subject! matter!
contained!herein!and!cancels!and!supersedes!any!prior!understandings!and!agreements!between!the!parties!hereto.!!

This!agreement!shall!also!be!applicable!in!all!future!projects!unless!terminated!by!either!one!(1)!of!the!parties.!Know!
therefore,!that!this!agreement!does!not!have!an!expiry!date.!

In!case!of!agreement!termination,!either!party!is!to!submit!a!notification!email!or!letter!at!least!one!(1)!month!prior!to!
termination!date.!

This!agreement!supersedes!any!other!agreements,!if!there’s!any.!
