DrxProfile

DRX profiles and DRX parameters that map to different QCIs. First instance, DrxProfileId 0, is default DRX
profile. Profile eMBMS VoLTE DRX (drxProfile=18) is used when DRX is combined with eMBMS and VoLTE
coexistence.

The RDNs of these MOs are DrxProfile=0 to DrxProfile=18.

This MO is created by the system.

Attributes
DrxInactivityTimer drxInactivityTimer = PSF200
Specifies the number of consecutive PDCCH-subframe(s) after successfully decoding
a PDCCH indicating an initial UL or DL user data transmission for this UE. TS36.331
ch. 6.3.2, RRC parameter drx-InactivityTimer.

string drxProfileId
key
The value component of the RDN
mandatory
noNotification
restricted
DrxRetransmissionTimer drxRetransmissionTimer = PSF2
Specifies the maximum number of consecutive PDCCH-subframe(s) for as soon as a
DL retransmission is expected by the UE. TS36.331 ch. 6.3.2, RRC parameter drx-
RetransmissionTimer.

Takes effect: Next cell unlock

DrxOperVals drxState = ENABLED
Whether or not DRX is enabled for this profile. Hence if this DRX profile uses DRX.

Takes effect: Next cell unlock

LongDrxCycle longDrxCycle = SF320
The value of longDrxCycle is in number of sub-frames. If shortDrxCycle is configured,
the value of longDrxCycle shall be a multiple of the shortDrxCycle value.

Dependencies: Needs to be a multiple of shortDrxCycle

Takes effect: Next cell unlock
LongDrxCycle longDrxCycleOnly = SF160
The longDrxCycleOnly value is used as longDrxCycle when the UE does not support
shortDrxCycle. The value of longDrxCycleOnly is in number of sub-frames.

Takes effect: Next cell unlock

OnDurationTimer onDurationTimer = PSF10
Number of consecutive PDCCH-subframes at beginning of a DRX Cycle. TS36.331 ch.
6.3.2, RRC parameter onDurationTimer.
Ericsson recommends to make shortDrxCycle value larger than onDurationTimer
value.

ShortDrxCycle shortDrxCycle = SF40
Consecutive subframes between on-duration phases, that is period of re-occurring
on-duration phases. Parameter is applied when UE follows short DRX cycle.
Parameter is ignored if shortDrxCycleTimer = 0, instead longDrxCycle is applied and
UE follows long DRX cycle only. Corresponds to 3GPP information element shortDRX-
Cycle.
Ericsson recommends to make shortDrxCycle value larger than onDurationTimer
value.

Dependencies: If attribute shortDrxCycleTimer = 0, shortDrxCycles is not used.

Takes effect: Next cell unlock
int32 shortDrxCycleTimer = 4 { 0..16 }
Specifies the number of consecutive subframes the UE must follow the short DRX
cycle after the DRX Inactivity Timer has expired. Value in multiples of shortDRX-
Cycles. A value of 1 corresponds to 1 * shortDRX-Cycle, a value of 2 corresponds to 2
* shortDRX-Cycle and so on. Corresponds to 3GPP timer drxShortCycleTimer. The
value 0 means that short DRX cycles are not used.

Takes effect: Next cell unlock
