Repairer to allow:
1. Hang stages to be provide for the cutting of existing structure, installation, welding and
painting of the new structure. The size to be recognized on spot.
2. Take measure of existing construction, produce new plate.
3. Cut the vertical plate.
4. Prepare all edges for new plate installation.
5. Fit new plate by tack welding.
6. Start welding.
7. The welding shape to be the same as on existing construction.
8. The vertical batt joint is to be flash ground.

9. Material of the new structures: Steel grade is “AH”.


10. Welding is to be provide with Low Hydrogen electrodes “SPECIAL-303N” – UNITOR
Manufacturer (for example) or alternative approved by Class WPS.
Welder is to be qualified and certified.
All completed welding to be 100% visually inspected and confirmed by Owner
representative.
11. Materials and welding in accordance with Class Rules to Surveyor’s satisfaction.
12. Painting.
The new steel plate and damaged coating of hull structures due to hot works shell be coat /
recoat in compliance with the vessel’s Painting Specification. The paint colour shall be as
surround.
