1. The leadership role model that I really look up to as an inspiration is New Zealand’s
prime minister Jacinda Ardern. It is because she is a living and a perfect example of what
and how real leadership should be. She was able to govern and remained consistent in
being concise and direct of her strategy in handling and navigating the Covid-19
pandemic. Out of all her exemplary characteristics as a good and competent leader, what
I admire most about her is that she puts kindness at the top of her every agenda. She
symbolizes sympathy, love and integrity which are the sovereignty of a principled
leadership. Her compassion and courage have shaped a consensus —meaning what she
says, saying what she means, bold and defiant. The style and approach of her leadership
establishes action, care and unity that shows love dismantles hate. Her leadership excels
and is guiding us through in a world where we see the best of us as well as the worst.
2. The leadership style of Jacinda Ardern that I really praise is her approach to consistency,
integrity and compassion. She is a woman of her words and actually has the “GUTS” to
implement and lead her country to excellency and greatness. Ardern sees every difference
between races, beliefs and practices and fully respect, embrace and connects with it and I
think that is what every leader should observe and take in as a value for an exemplary
leadership.
3. I think I can emulate this kind of leadership by first, treating every circumstance with
love and empathy and critically examine the situation first before doing any decision. I
will see to it to become as ethical as possible in foreseeing every strategy I observe even
in doing and scheduling my requirements. From now on, I will practice to become more
consistent and be a woman of my words and face every endeavor that I may encounter as
a student, friend and a classmate with a great amount of kindness, determination and
courage.
