According to the students of MSE 2k16 who have taken part in the online trial class along
with the other students, there have been some problems regarding online class which have
been generalized below;

 Some students are in the flooded area of Bangladesh and are facing serious problems
to have their basic needs like food, shelter etc. They along with their family are
struggling due to food and water supply along with lack of electricity. So, they cannot
attend the trial online classes.
 Family crisis has been another major issue for some students. Some students earn
their living by home tutoring as they have a very needy family to provide. Other
students are facing family crisis as their fathers’ are out of job or business for a long
time. In this scenario it is quite impossible for the students to attend online classes.
 Network problem is another issue for some students. They are living in the rural areas
with their parents due to COVID-19. As they are out of network (3G/4G), it has
become a big issue for the students to attend online classes.
 One of the major issues of a large number of students has been the device. Some of
the students have left their Desktop PCs in the campus and some of them have not
brought their laptops too from campus. A small group of students do not have
smartphones and some of the students’ smartphones and laptops are ruined. Not
having a device makes it impossible to attend the online classes.
 Majority of the students are facing the problem of bearing the cost of internet to do
the online classes. In this situation of COVID-19, it is quite impossible for their
families to bear the cost.
 Some of the students have a bad internet connection, so they cannot understand the
lecture properly and students having a broadband connection sometimes faces
electricity problem.
 In these 4 months some students have lost their close relatives due to COVID-19,
making them and their family mentally unstable, which also pose a barrier to
attending classes.
