ATTENDANCE
Missing the class is a serious problem.
✓ When students miss a class then you're missing the learning process, and that
means you don’t learn anything
✓ No difference whether the reason is sick, family matter, office assignment, just
lazy, or play golf
✓ Case method is effective if students attend each and every class.
✓ Minimum attendance in each course is 80%
✓ If attendance is below 80%, grade will be downgraded OR failed the course.
✓ During offline session, we are using picture attendance, improper picture may
result in invalid attendance

HINTS
In order to achieve an excellent performance during the learning process,
students need to prepare themselves before getting into the class by reading
the information and instruction within the syllabus carefully, including:

✓ Plagiarism: representing someone else’s work as your own

failing of the course

LENGTH OF STUDY
✓ Completion based on curriculum:
18 months (3 long semesters and 1 short semester).
Extension may have financial consequence - tuition fee: fixed fee (SDPA) & course credit fee (SBP)

✓ Intake January 2021 – Finish all graduation requirements before early June 2022 (July 2022
Graduation), else, pay IDR 7.5 Mio for 0 sks

✓ Maximum study period: 3 years.


✓ Total SKS: 36-40
TAKING MORE CREDITS
✓ A student may take >12 SKS if:
▪ Last semester IP ≥ 3.25 (instead of 3.00)
▪ Received permission from his/her counsellor and Head of MBA Program
▪ Class schedule allows
✓ Students from executive program are not allowed to take classes in regular
classes and vice versa, unless in some urgent situation:
▪ “Injury” time
▪ Retaking classes

Students needs to register their study plan in every semester.

It is each student’s responsibility to register study plan.


If you miss the due date, then you may not be able to take courses and miss the

You could help maintaining the availability of the books by:


▪ recording the books you borrow with the librarian
▪ returning them on time

*during the pandemic, libraries are closed for borrowing books.


LIBRARY
✓ The maximum number of borrowing = 3 books for 2 weeks and 3 e-books for
1 week.
✓ Books can be extended maximum 1 time (as long as there is no waiting list)
✓ You have to meet the Librarian or PIC of roster class if you want to borrow
the books.

✓ If the returned book is defected or missing, students have to replace it like its
original condition or substitute it with a new one.
✓ It is forbidden for you to hand-over the book to others (Student/Lecturer)
✓ Please return the books on time, remember that other students need the
books too.

✓ Please do not copy a copyrighted book as it is against copyright laws.

▪ E-Club (Entrepreneurship-Club) is the community and ecosystem for growth, network and business
venture for MBA ITB Jakarta students across all batches and program.
▪ The club is dedicated to furthering understanding about new and small business.

LEADERSHIP EXERCISES
✓ Leader of the Course (LoC)
▪ Consist of 1-3 persons who will be in charge for a course subject
▪ Responsible for forming Syndicates as required by the lecturers
▪ Liaising the class with lecturers and academic services in relation to the
course to achieve the best outcomes
▪ Coordinating the Quality Assurance Survey (QAS) completion
▪ LoC will be announced by Academic Service
✓ Peers of the Class (PC)
▪ Consist of 5-7 students, which applied during the study
▪ Decide who will be your PC
▪ PC’s title and members’ names shall be submitted to Academic Service
FINAL PROJECT
Start to think about the topic early so that you can finish on time. Remember,
the period of study is around 18 months (3 long semesters and 1 short
semester). Extension may result in delay of the completion and paying tuition
fee.
PROPOSING TOPIC & SUPERVISOR
FOR FINAL PROJECT
▪ Student proposes a topic of his/her interest
▪ Student may propose 3 (three names) of candidate supervisors (list of
lecturers & their profile will be provided)
▪ Each student will be supervised by a counselor which will be allocated
according the student’s proposal, suitability of proposal with the supervisor’s
area of expertise and availability of the supervisor.
▪ Student has to register for Final Project course (ITB).

E-ATTENDANCE*
▪ Hand signature replaced by selfie photo in each session.

▪ Student who doesn't sign the session would be counted not coming.

▪ LoC (Leader of the Class) has a responsible to make sure that all students in
the class have signed the sessions and makes a confirmation directly to the
Android Tablet.

▪ If LoC has confirmed the session confirmation, all students could not sign the
session anymore.

▪ Student who is not listed in the android application, should contact Student
Service.
