Like many other medical conditions, sleep apnea has different forms,
each with its own treatment mode. Surprisingly, one of them comes
from the dentist. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), the most common
form, occurs when the tongue and soft pallet block the sleepers’
airways, causing them to stop breathing multiple times during the
night. Severe OSA may need to be treated with a CPAP (Continuous
Positive Airway Pressure) machine, but mild to moderate OSA can
