What does Idle No More fight for?

Idle No More fights for aborignal sovereignty, treaty terms being respected,
protection of their people and the environment they live in. They also
address issues that happen to the First Nations. Such as the issue that
First Nations women get murdered and are missing.

women.
How scary it is to you when
someone goes missing in
your area?

Sadly, First Nations women make up 16% of murdered

women and 11% of missing women in Canada. Violence
against First Nation women and girls is a current issue we
have today in our society. Fortunately, many activist groups
like Idle No More will address these issues to the
government. Hopefully, we will see positive change to this
important issue overtime.
How does Idle No More gain attention?
To get attention, the members in Idle No More would stage
protests, marches, and flash mobs. They will also block bridges
and highways to get attention.

Have you ever got mad at the
government for doing something
that does not benefit you?
