Career
Since the 1980s, Frenkel has been the owner of Loyd's
Group of Companies, which deals with investments in the
domains of property and real estate,[1][2] civil aviation and
aerospace industries, energy and hi-tech.[3] The group was
formed as part of the efforts to develop the economies of
central and eastern Europe. The development was
concentrated at the time on sharing technology, equipment,
knowhow and capital from international companies in
western countries interested, in contributing to their
development and economic flourishing of the
aforementioned countries.

As a representative of the main civil aviation industries[4] in

Central & Eastern Europe (Boeing, Airbus, Gulfstream,
Agusta), Frenkel established the Loyd's Group,[5] aiming to
bring western aviation products, advanced technology and
equipment to these eastern countries. The company is
estimated to be involved in investments of over 35 billion
dollars in the last 25 years. The Group is involved in all
stages of property development, starting from designing and
planning to implementation and management.
