III. Classroom Rules

a. Schedule
The schedule of classes for our classes are the following:

Wed 8:00AM -11:00AM Section 2I/3D

Wed 12:00PM-3:00PM Section 2J/3E

However, we do not need to meet or be online all at the same time on those schedules. All your
learning will be based on your personal schedule. Watching the lectures (which can be accessed in
Schoology) and doing the activities are all set at your own pace and convenience.

b. Grading System
The grading system will be:
Activities and Problem Sets 70%
Major Examinations (Midterms and Finals) 30%
Total 100%

Major Examinations will be taken at a set time and schedule. Please wait for further announcements
regarding the schedule.
c. Classroom Policies
i. Submission of Activities
Lecture materials will be uploaded in Schoology. Each topic posted will have a required
activity to be submitted in Schoology. You can take a picture, scan your paper, or encode your
answers to the required activities, quizzes and then upload/attach it in the designated submission
bin.
ii. Academic Dishonesty
Online classes are prone to cheating and rampant copying of classmates' work. I can easily
compare the output of students and identify who among you copied the same solution with your
classmates. If proven of committing academic dishonesty, an automatic failing grade will be given
to the student. So I strongly recommend that you work independently.
